Well last night became this morning, but I am getting ready to post.

I love the online system too! Can't wait to hear about your ADRs. The tea sounds perfect!

Coming right up!

We wants the update!! pirate:

Kathy

Don't make me walk the plank -- I have the update ready to post. ;)

Have a good day at school.:goodvibes

It was atrocious, really, but now it's the weekend.

I can't wait to do mine online! I always find myself crazed, and tired in Jan...a combination of all the things that get started up in the new year, crummy dreary weather and the cold season.

I hope you get some sleep :goodvibes and besides, it gives us something to look forward to!

I did get some sleep and some mother-daughter bonding time last night, so that helped a little. I am so ready for January to be done.

Congrats on your ADRs!!! I am so excited to see what you picked! I am sure it will make me hungry too :lmao:

It made me hungry just typing about it.

Hope you had a lot of popcorn last night since I was sidetracked.

Wow your plans sound great! She is going to have the best birthday EVER! hehe
I didn't realize how important the 13th birthday is until after I read posts. I still can't believe she's 13- she looks so young.

I did follow your suggestion and saved quotes and trip dates for later on the website and still have yet to receive a pin code.. I'm sad. although most of my dates were for march or Jan. of next year.. I just hope that I get a DEAL of some sort for my family this coming trip. I told them that I have always gotten some sort of a deal in Jan.. and I hope it will pull through. we will see.

and thats great that everything is working out smoothly with booking so far.

Don't give up hope yet. Charles actually received another pin code in the mail yesterday. I don't know how he ended up with one! :confused3

I feel like we need a drum roll. :rockband:

Can't Wait!!popcorn::

It's coming, I promise!

I did that too and it took about 2 weeks until I got my pin code.

Mine was only a few days, but it did appear. Did you use your pin code on a trip?

Looking forward to your update. :goodvibes

Finally, after many obstacles, I am ready to post.

I hope you shared some of your popcorn with Jordan -- he may have run out.

You are welcome! It has been a tough week -- I hope things are smoother next week.

Unfortunately, fate conspired against me. This morning, my computer ended up with a nasty Trojan virus that took Charles three hours to fix. Meanwhile, my mom and I were plotting an Atlanta outing that I can't wait to post about! :goodvibes

:rolleyes1

Chelsea had a really bad day at school yesterday (seventh grade drama is the worst) so when she asked if we could curl up on the couch together and watch a chick flick last night, we did. She chose Kate and Leopold (with Hugh Jackman) which neither of us had ever watched. It was just what both of us needed. Then, this morning, my computer decided to let a virus in and it's just now back to normal.

Can't wait to hear all about your ADRs, Jackie!!!!! popcorn::

Coming right up!

Hope you enjoyed your movie night with Chelsea! Can't wait to hear about your ADRs.

I did -- it was just what we both needed to feel a little bit better after a rough week.

Ok, um Jackie, I'M Procastinator. Remember? :lmao:

:rotfl: Totally did not plan to procrastinate -- events were conspiring against me.

Still waiting....... :surfweb:

No invisible ink -- just the Forces of Evil trying to intervene.

Coming right up if my computer will just cooperate!

Sorry for the delay in the update. Chelsea needed some mother-daughter bonding time last night with a chick flick after a rough week at school, and to be honest, I needed it, too. It was lovely to just sit on the couch together while Hugh Jackman wooed Meg Ryan in Kate and Leopold.

Then, this morning with my update typed and ready to go, all of a sudden my computer started screaming that it had a virus. It took Charles three hours and a whole slew of new anti-virus software to fix it.

Meanwhile, my mom and I are plotting a girls' outing in Atlanta. I will say more about that when we have a date and some tickets (it's not the Mary Poppins musical which we are still planning on attending but haven't purchased tickets for yet), but it is something that will probably make me all weepy as it will be a childhood dream of sorts come true for me. More on that later though especially since it entails educating Chelsea on one of my childhood loves. :goodvibes

Now, on to the real update:

Even the best of covert agents must eat on a regular basis, so part of Operation Thirteen Candles must include some places to satisfy our hunger and rest our feet.

Tuesday morning I logged on to our mother organization, Disney World, to make some dining reservations. Armed with my list of potential eating places, I was able to secure exactly what we wanted! So, which restaurants earned spots on our super secret mission?

1. Sunday evening after our arrival at the command base, we will be heading past this sign to dine at 50’s Prime Time Café. This is a first for us, and I have been angling for years to eat here. I finally wore Charles down and was able to get him to agree to try out someplace where we may get fussed at for not eating our vegetables and where we get to choose our desserts with the aid of a Viewmaster!

2. Monday evening we will be on a reconnaissance mission to find a heaping bowl of Cheddar Cheese Soup in the beautiful country of Canada at Le Cellier. This was a must-try for Charles after our trip to the Food and Wine Festival.

3. Tuesday around lunchtime, these signs will guide us to Yak and Yeti in the jungles of Asia. Hopefully this visit will prove to be better than our last one in June 2008.

4. After an early lunch, we will return to the command center of our resort where in the afternoon, Chelsea and I will go transform ourselves into elegant ladies with only one aim in mind -- to enjoy afternoon tea in the Garden View Lounge. Another first for us and any place that serves pastries is bound to be delicious. Charles and Connor will head to the arcade for some boy time!

5. Wednesday morning after a couple of hours at the Magic Kingdom we have a rendezvous to meet the Mad Hatter and Alice at 1900 Park Fare for breakfast/brunch. Surely these characters will keep us laughing as they did in June 2007 when we ate there.

6. Thursday evening as our mission draws to a close, we will celebrate a successful trip with a heaping helping of cannelloni and tiramisu at Tutto Italia -- another request from Charles. Hopefully, the charming waiters will have been alerted to the need to sing Happy Birthday to Chelsea.

So amid the heat and celebrating, we have three new places to try and three places we are returning to eat at again. Can’t wait!

"Logging on to our mother organization" :rotfl2:
Those are some wonderful ADR's Natasha! PT50C is a lot of fun and I highly recommend the fried chicken. The mashed potatoes sooooo good. I might sneak in a lunch here in May ;)
I am eating at Le Cellier for the first time in May
I know you are a big Tutto fan and they DO have accommodating waiters ;)
The tea will be so fun for just the two of you

Looking forward to your girl's outing reveal....I'm sure it will be wonderful :goodvibes

Tracy

Your ADRs sound great. We love 50s PTC! So much fun. Brother Robert has been our waiter 2 years in a row.

We are trying Le Cellier for the first time and can't wait.

Have a good weekend.
