I think that you will be absolutely fine in July...yes it will be hot but it would be hot at home for you too...and at least you'll be at Disney...

You've been there before and I have a feeling that you'll be going again... so you don't have to do every single ride and show...pick the things that are the most important/meaningful to you and Chelsea...oh yeah and the guys too...

You can't get any closer to the MK-without actually sleeping in it and you have nice trasport to Epcot too...

It WILL be fabulous...

(hmmm....Operation Tinsel huh? I'd like to get in a little tinsel action myself but with our two trips this year I think I'm going to wait a little to have that conversation with Eric...)

Yay for two Veras! Pinwheel Pink is my favorite pattern (along with Puccini and Purple Punch). My preppy little heart just can't resist that pink and green combination!

Can't wait to see what ADRs you get! When I made our ADRs, I couldn't get on any earlier than 6am. But I would still give it a try - I have read that others have had luck.

I can't wait, either! Would everyone care to discuss their thought process behind making ADRs? What times do they make ADRs? Every 15 minutes? Every 5 minutes? Or is it completely random? When you make an ADR, do you have to say I want a 8:15 Crystal Palace reservation, or can you just say you want a reservation for a time prior to park opening?

Sorry for all the questions, but I'll be making ADRs first the first time ever! My window doesn't open until June, but it may take that long for me to figure the whole thing out!

I think Operation 13 candles is just about the sweetest things I've ever heard! I would have LOVED something special like that for my 13th birthday. I can't wait to hear about her reaction, because I can just about guarantee you that it will be one of those cherished memories that you will draw on when those teenage angst years really hit hard.

The online system allows you to check for a specific time and the system checks for that time and an hour before and after. You can also check for a range of dates at a specific time. This works well for us as we can pick and choose according to the days we will be at the World.

I just read the last update as well, I think this is going to be a memory-making trip for Chelsea. And, you are going to be the coolest Mom EVER! for making it happen!

How are you going to reveal it to her? Or is that a future update?

I'm predicting you did well on your ADR's. I'm going earlier in July and since I hadn't made my resort reservations yet I had to call every day. (I did some online but I just like chatting with the CM's. Makes is seem more magical somehow.) I got everything I wanted even though it was through the weekend of the 4th. A couple of the CM's commented that there didn't seem to be as big of a rush for ADR's that weekend. Since I don't have a code I'm holding hope that a discount will be offered that weekend so it was good news to me.
