Awwww I love the LGM cupcakes!!! They look delicious too :thumbsup2 You should enter Cupcake Wars on Foodtv :) I love the "claw" at the end too:lmao:
Chelsea just cracks me up...reading in the rain and her day spent unplugged. Of course I probably find this even more humorous seeing that I don't have a teenage daughter ;) Funny how I will never forget my Mother saying she hopes I have a daughter just like me someday.....:lmao: I am running out of time!! :rotfl:
Enjoy your day!! :goodvibes

Tracy

Love the cupcakes and pictures of Chelsea!

I want to come spend the summer at your house too! Way more fun than what we've got going on.

Chelsea just cracks me up. Reading in the rain is something Morghan would totally do. Where do girls come up with the stuff they do to us moms? It makes me appreciate my mom that much more for sure. :) Your cupcakes are absolutely adorable!! It looks like you three are having some fun days this summer. That's great Jackie!

Love the reading in the rain picture. I used to sit on the wall at the backdoor to read when it was raining. On nice days I'd climb up on the bottom limb of the pin oak tree in our backyard to read. My bedroom window was right there and I'd put my radio in the window to have background music while I was reading.

Those cupcakes look yummy!

I love the cupcakes too cute! And Chelsea is a complete drama queen isn't she? I'd have a hard time trying not to laugh when I saw that. :rotfl:

I love the cupcakes!!! The pictures of Chelsea are great also. Did you guys enjoy the USA game today? I did and DVR's it for DH so he can watch i when he gets home from work.

I love the pic of Chelsea reading in the rain. I used to do that too. Her sleeping on the floor with the dogs :rotfl:. When I was her age and I would complain about being board my mom alway said she give me something to do. I would usually find a book or take a nap. Those cupcakes look good. I think I have a project for kids I watch the next time it rains.

HAHA!! I love the cupcakes! Aww, Chelsea reading in the rain is such a cute picture!!!

Cute cupcakes! I love how your kids are spending their Summer days having so much fun.

We saw TS3 on Friday too. Best movie I've seen in a long time.:thumbsup2 I also cried for my lost childhood, my kids' lost childhoods, and the little girl in the tutu with rain boots made me miss my DGS2 - that's her favorite get-up :cutie:

Who knew we could love some old toys so much?

The Claw! I love it. Whose claw was it taking a little green man to a better place?

Fun fun update

:rotfl2: Great cupcake update! I love it! I am going to see my nephews this weekend. I bet ALL 4 of them would go see TS4 with me. I wonder how much that will set me back! :rotfl2:

How 'bout the USA soccer team????? :thumbsup2

That picture of Chelsea sleeping on the floor with the dogs is a hoot. Recently my DS12 has to be unplugged and he very dramatically "took to his bed". :lmao: Actually, his unplugging was for 2 days and by day 2 he became very creative. It's like his brain turned on and he went to town. He did more projects that day than he had done in a month! I actually secretively like him to get in trouble just so I have an excuse to strip him down to nothing...he's a much cooler kid that way. :rolleyes1

LOL Pinatas in jail!!! That's a great one!!!! Connor is always good for a laugh and a smile!!!! What a great sense of humor!!

Love the LGM cupcakes!! Definitely going to have to keep that idea for later on!!!!! They looked so cute!!!!!

We often have "unplugged days" around here. At the cottage it's out of necessity and no one seems to mind but at home it's the worst punishment possible.

LOve the cupcakes!

Super cute cupcakes! If I were feeling more brave I might try them with my kids. We found the gummies too, needless to say they didn't last long around here.

Thanks! Yeah, the gummies didn't last very long around here, either.

Love the cupcakes. I'm pretty sure I will be making those for Brooklynn's class in August.

Thanks! Don't forget the ears and antennas! LOL!

The picture of Chelsea and the dogs is hilarious! It will probably be one of those days she very distinctly remembers when she is 28. I have a couple of those crystal clear moments that I now look back on and see why I didn't get to do something and how dramatic I was. (SHH! I don't want MeMom to know)

:lmao: I have some of those days in my memories of childhood, too!

The cupcakes are cute. I am pretty sure I will be purchasing a tub of little green aliens on this trip. I'm going to turn them in with my school allowance receipts (usually $100 -$200, depending on what the budget is doing on a given year) and use them in a Math center or something.

I think that is a great idea! Ours are always embarking on adventures. The other night they went to the pool with us and floated around for a couple of hours.

Love 'the claw' picture.

That was Connor's idea -- he said we had to have one after making the cupcakes.

Soccer,
cupcakes,
Kleenex ;),
and counting down to a not very far away Disney trip. :dance3:

Life is good. :)

You know I needed kleenex after the game what with that last minute goal and all. I just couldn't help myself. :goodvibes

Jill, Jill, Jill.....
you just better watch out for your future.
Your not quite four year old has as much drama in her now as you did at fifteen!
You are in for some fun :upsidedow times. :rotfl:

:lmao: My mom always said I would pay for my teenage angst and drama -- I fear she is right!

Jackie, those little girls give us a rough time off and on for a few years, but when it is over, they turn out to be magnificent young women and awesome, incredible, fabulous friends.

That's definitely good news to hear! :goodvibes

For the record, Jill was a breeze in comparison to many, because she wasn't into any kind of wildness, she was a great student, very involved in school, etc. I'm sure Chelsea will be a breeze, as well.

I am hoping -- I am nervous about the next five years.

I am loving his sense of humor.

Love those cupcakes.

Chelsea being unplugged with the dogs is :rotfl:
Reading in the rain is something I would have done at that age. Just because. :confused3

Connor has a great sense of humor!

We had fun making the cupcakes!

Chelsea does a lot of "just because" things. LOL!

I love those cupcakes!! What a cute idea. I wish I could watch the match. I am sure Jason, my DH, is planning his morning around it. He is a teacher by trade, but is a stay at home dad for the next couple of years until my youngest is in preschool. He really is not sure which job is harder :lmao:

It was a great game! Well, actually it became a great game at the 91st minute -- the other 90 minutes were very stressful. ;)

Thanks! We enjoyed our trip. I just love South Carolina. My favorite places are Disneyworld, Hawaii and the lowcountry of South Carolina (?spelling). I would move to that area in a heartbeat but Jason wants to stay put in Tennessee and our family is from here.

I love the Lowcountry, too. I would move back there if only they paid their teachers a bit more. I would take about a $15,000 paycut moving back there, and all of our family is here now. Charles and I have decided that's where we want to retire though.

Is it wrong that I like it when Chelsea is "unplugged", she always seems to have a great moment of drama. I love that you share it with us. :lmao:

Chelsea does have great moments of drama!

Your cupcakes looks so cute! I love that you took pictures with the little green aliens. :goodvibes

They insisted on coming to help and supervise! ;)

CP, your cupcakes are SO cute!! What a fun idea :goodvibes they make me wish Patrick had gone through with a TS3 movie party. Instead we are having a pool party and a themed cake to go along with it which will be cute too.

Thanks! You will have to post pictures of Patrick's cake -- it is bound to be great!

Hi Jackie -
LOVE the cupcakes! So cute!!!

Connor is quite the budding filmmaker. We can say, "we knew him when..." :)

Have a great day!!

Katie

Thanks! I keep trying to brainwash Connor into wanting to be an Imagineer when he grows up -- I think that will the perfect job for him. :goodvibes

I love that picture of Chelsea, it is too funny! And I can't believe how big Nala is. How quickly our babies grow, eh? :goodvibes

It's hard to believe that Nala is already almost two years old!

All the Toy Story toys are on rollback at Walmart right now. I literally have to force myself to walk past that aisle before I buy everything up for DS. He is so into Toy Story, and we haven't gotten to see the third one yet. I can't wait!

You will love it! I have managed to avoid the actual Toy Story aisle -- if I go down it, I am sure something would come home with me. LOL!

I love the cupcakes. Did you find that recipe online or make it up? It looks like so much fun. :thumbsup2

Happydog made some on her PTR, and I saw the recipe on either the Family Fun website or the Disney Family website -- one of those two had it along with a lot of other Toy Story crafts.

Very cute cupcakes!!

I love that you upload so many pics. I need to be better about it. It just seems to take me more time than I think it should. What photosite do you use?

Thanks! I use Photobucket -- it's pretty easy to use when it is in a cooperative mood.

We watched Monsters Inc last night, I would love to make cupcakes with Sully blue icing, but then I would have to eat them! :rotfl2: (Kinda defeats the trying to be healthier kick!)

Deb

Sully cupcakes would be a lot of fun to make! We love Monsters, Inc!

Love the cupcakes and the commentary too. That "You have been chosen" line had me cracking up.

Thanks! The claw and line were all Connor -- he even staged the LGM just right. LOL!

:rotfl: Loved the whole cupcake thing!!!! Too funny!

Thanks!

That picture with the dogs is priceless. I am so dreading all that teenage drama. My DD has enough of that already at 6! I think it is a girl thing too, so I better get prepared.

Chelsea has always been very dramatic ever since she was little, little. At least it wasn't a shock when it continued as she has gotten older. I agree that it's a girl thing. :goodvibes

I'm going to add "little green men cupcake stuff" to my shopping list right now!

They were lots of fun to make!

Awwww! Your cupcakes are too cute! Actually I've been craving cupcakes lately. I mentioned it to Will and he looked at me like I had three heads. Lol. I guess what scared him was the "craving" part. Lol.

I loved Chelsea reading in the rain. Lol

Thanks! Ha ha ha about Will's reaction to your "craving."

The cupcakes look great! I kept thinking, "But, where's The Claw!?" and then I saw the final picture.

Thanks! Oh, yes, Connor said we had to have a claw picture. ;)

The picture of Chelsea napping with the dogs made me smile. Very cute cupcakes. What a fun activity and the best part, you get to eat them later. You did get to eat them right?

Thanks! Oh, yes, we ate them -- I think there are only four left at this point.

Cute cupcakes Jackie - I bet you guys had fun making those, they look good too and I'm already hungry - you really aren't helping matters there!

Thanks! :lmao: sorry to make you hungrier. ;)

Love the picture of Chelsea sleeping with the dogs during her oh so awful unplugged day. I'm sure if you asked my mom she would tell you that I had plenty of drama moments as a teen as well, but I certainly don't remember having any............. :rolleyes1

:rotfl: I know I had some of those moments, too.

Your cupcakes are cute! How ironic, I actually made some Little Green Alien cupcakes two days ago!
These are mine(:
IMG_6587-1.jpg

Oh, yours turned out so good! Amazing how much more they look like LGM with the addition of ears!

That's it... I'm coming to live at your house! So much fun!!!! :)

Come on! We have a good time most of the time. ;)

Jackie...

you were so right about the kleenex...:sad1: Nathan & I just loved it

love the flim clip....:rotfl: and I never realized how much your dog Nala looks like our Maggie (minus Maggie has a bit more gray)

IMG_0511.jpg

Yes, there were quite a few kleenex-worthy moments in TS3, weren't there?

Maggie does look a lot like Nala -- Maggie wears as much "eyeliner" as our Nala does.

plus the LGM cupckaes are brillant (and MickeyisBeast's too) we'll have to do that when Nathan get's home from camp)

here is a picture of Nathan's TS collection/tribute...he still needs to add his newest friends...

Oh, Nathan's collection is fabulous! I love all the framed prints!

Awwww I love the LGM cupcakes!!! They look delicious too :thumbsup2 You should enter Cupcake Wars on Foodtv :) I love the "claw" at the end too:lmao:

Thanks! I don't think I am quite to the Cupcake Wars level, though. ;)

:goodvibes

Tracy

:lmao: My mom said the exact same thing, and I have to admit that she got her wish. ;)
