Top Priority Waitlist?

So I decided to do a last minute trip in October for a few nights just to attend MNSSHP. I called MS today and surprisingly they had a 1 bedroom available at OKW for all the days I wanted. While booking, the system froze and they lost the room. Go figure, there is no availability now anywhere. They put me on a top priority waiting list. Is this an actual thing? What's the likelyhood of it coming through? I feel not likely. I feel like Disney owes me a gift card or something
