Do you need to have a reservation and be a part of the Wicked Wine Down to go up there to see the fireworks and have a drink on a night when they are holding it? Thanks!
They do allow owners who are eligible to visit to go up FCFS.
As already mentioned, you may or may not be able to go into the lounge or bars and may even need to be put on a waitlist to go in.
Most reports I have seen have shared that showing up 15 to 20 minutes prior to the fireworks is good time and they let a lot of people up for the observation deck at that time.
Is there much of a wait or do I need to place myself on a list if I wanted to go up to Top of the World Lounge after fireworks? I have no interest in watching fireworks from up there but may want to get a drink afterwards before I go to my room.
When we did Wicked Wind Down, we went back to the lounge to finish our food. We were the the second set of people out of there and that was about an hour after fireworks. They do run a list, there's a podium at the elevator on the first floor where you can check-in. My hunch is the lounge pretty much clears out after the fireworks so you should be able to go in pretty much immediately, but I am not sure how late the lounge is open. It may close after the fireworks.
When can I book this for October. Thank you.
When we were at BLT 2 weeks ago, the WWD was only on Friday night. The other nights were first come first serve.
We went up on Thursday night to the deck.
Last I checked (about a week ago or so), the desert party was offered on Wednesdays and Fridays. WWD was offered on the other nights. They don't always have either event loaded 60 days in advance. I'm still waiting for May dates.
Thanks. I'll call again tomorrow.I was able to book WWD for May 28 a few days ago.
