Top of the World Lounge

We will be staying at the VGF in August with most of my Wife's family, 9 of us in total. Her other sister is staying at POR. We have reservations at Whispering Canyon at 5pm, and were planning to go to TOTWL after dinner to catch the fireworks. The sister that is staying at POR, will not be joining us. Her and husband have reservation at Victoria & Alberts, and we are taking her two kids ( 6 & 9) with us to Whispering Canyon. So there will be a total of 11 us. Will we have have any issues with bringing my niece and nephew with us? This will be the only chance we will be able to see the lounge on this trip, and already promised to watch the kids.

Just bring your MBs and DVC member card. As long as one member of the party has these two items proving you are staying on property and are a DVC member you could be able to get in. Also you have to use Disney transportation to get to BLT--there is a ferry that goes from WL to CR. No member parking is allowed at BLT for viewing at TOTWL.

Also regarding the kids, there is a very high wall, I am 5' 4" and it hits me high on my ches, that will be hard for the kids to see the castle. They will see the fireworks but not the castle.

If you get there early enough before other families take them over there are benches in the back that kids use to stand on. I worry about kids doing that though because there is a 6' or more drop behind them as the ramp slants down from the lounge to the hotel level.

There should not be a problem as long as the lounge is not too full- I don't know if they actually have a way to check and see if everyone is on the same reservation but we have never had to show that to go up with friends staying on Disney property.
