I'll be at Walt Disney World for Halloween and would love if my friends and I could watch the MNSSHP fireworks from Top of the World Lounge. I've not been to WDW in nearly a decade, so I'm not familiar at all with how this works. I tried to do some research but I'm a little confused and hoped you all could help.

1. I'm a DVC member staying on rented points (i.e. someone else's reservation). I think I'm still eligible for lounge access since I'm eligible for Membership Extras, is that right?
2. We're travelling with another couple who aren't on our reservation. Technically I don't think they're allowed up, but I've seen some reports that CMs allow it anyway. Any recent reports?
3. The website says blockout days apply, but it doesn't specify whether Halloween is blocked or not. Any idea how I can check?
4. I heard that the rooftop fireworks viewing area has plenty of space, so showing up just before fireworks start should be okay, is that right?

Thanks!

As long as you are eligible, which you are, you will be allowed up. They do not always check to make sure everyone with you is on your reservation and arriving before fireworks just for viewing seems to be a good time to go with your group.

Typical, black out has been Dec 30 and 31st and July 3rd and 4th. I am pretty sure Halloween will have it opened.

Just FYI, the TOTWL is not a great place to view the fireworks. We like it because it eliminates the hassle of getting out of MK after the pyro and because we're not huge fireworks fans anyway. A true fireworks fan might be a bit let down(this is just my opinion of course.):earsboy:
