Anyone else have movies on their weekend to do list?

Just got back from seeing Thunderbolts and it was outstanding!

Tomorrow we are headed to see Mission Impossible and it looks really good too, this family of fans are thrilled good movies seem to be making a comeback:cheer2:

Saw Thunderbolts last week, saw this week Lilo and Stitch as great movies.

Was the new Lilo and Stich good? I don't have little kids anymore and so many works have been lukewarm so I have missed the last decade or so in Disney animation. I used to see absolutely everything and would like to feel the magic again

I wish I could see Lilo and Stitch this weekend, but DD21 made me promise to wait until she comes home later this weekend to see it. I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been tempted to go see it, and then see it again with her. I’m super excited about this movie. We’ve been Lilo and Stitch fans from day 1 in 2002 :stitch2:

My dd is 29 and Stitch has been her spirit animal since the day the first one came out when she was 6 and we saw it. We have a million stitch plush, toys, collectibles, clothing etc. We are seeing it but waited until Tuesday because movies are $5 and popcorn is free. We bought the tickets last week. I haven't seen a Disney live remake since BatB, and I didn't like that one at all. But for Stitch we make an exception.

Not a new movie in the theaters but recorded all 10 Band of Brothers episodes on AMC. Watched 1, 2 and 3 yesterday. Hope to finish this week.
That is an incredible series, and book.

I'm excited for The Roses to open in a few months. The trailer looks so good I told DH I want to see it in the theater. I've only been to the theater in the past few years for live events' broadcasts.

We saw Mission Impossible. Really enjoyed it. Our theater had so much garbage it was piled in a mountain over 4 times the size of the garbage container. It was so big it caught my eye as we drove past the back of the theater.

I told DH they really had a great weekend.

Film was really great but I was so distracted by some optics it kept breaking the 4th wall for me. Once a person reaches an age where people say, "You look good for your age," going shirtless should cease and he was shirtless a lot, like wayyy too much if you don't look like Alan Ritchson from Reacher. Also he and all the old guys had such long unkempt hair it looked like they were going for the sk8er boi look my son did when he was in middle school. These two things kept distracting me from the story because I kept wondering how much money a person needs in the bank to have everyone tell you every idea is genius, whatever it is Tom Cruise has it. Plus did the stylist or casting director FORCE the other men into the silly long hair so TC would't be the only one or did they all reach this conclusion that old vampire was the look they wanted... so much time just staring at hair
