I'm not liking this season as well as the usual format, where all the chefs are there and you get to know their personalities from watching week to week and then start picking one to root for.

I understand that these chefs are waaaay to busy to give up whole weeks of their lives as they have a established restaurants that cannot surve without their daily presence. It just doesn't feel the same on this Top Chef.
I DO like that these chefs are all respectful of each other. Becasue they all are established and at the top of their field, they have a real respect & professionalism that the insecure, regular contestants from past seasons could learn from.
Ludo was annoying with his French arrogance.

It actually was his undoing. Every time he thought was better than he was, he proved himself wrong.

He should have stuck to making French crepes. We have crepe food booths at street fairs all the time.
Did anyone notice that Rick helped two of the other chefs and still he won?

He told Ludo which cheese to use for a quesadilla and helped Cindy figure out the pressure cooker. Good for Rick being such a great guy.
