Top 5+ Most Difficult ADRs To Get?

California Grill may be true! I thought about trying just because of the fireworks but their menu is really just not my cup of tea, but we've always wanted to try Coral Reef but never been able to.

We ate dinner last year at the California Grill during the fireworks. As much as it sounds nice to be in the restaurant during the fireworks, there is a SLIM chance your table will actually have a great view of the fireworks. We were put far in the back of the restaurant out of view of the castle. So, with all the hype I heard about being a CG during Wishes, you can have it!!! We ended up getting up from our table and huddled onto the outside viewing area with at least a hundred other people. All the children had to be held to see over the railing. We ended up leaving and headed back insided to eat our now cold dinner. :sad2: Never again!!! We had a much better experience booking a late ADR at 'Ohana and watching Wishes from the beach at The Poly and then heading up for dinner. :thumbsup2

I agree. We actually had a window seat but I thought the whole experience was way overrated. I prefer Wishes (resort wise) from the Poly as well but I like them the most being in MK. There's just something about feeling the boom of the fireworks and looking up at them and the music being so loud it drowns out all of the other noise :goodvibes.

Oh, this isn't to say that I think Cali Grill is overrated. The food and service were really good and I've eaten there other times. My absolute favorite time is to get there right before sunset and to watch the sunset and the resorts and park turn into nightime.

I must be pretty lucky b/c we got a fantasmic package, Chef mickey, Ohana, and Le Cellier for our thanksgiving trip! I did have to take an 11:20 Chef Mickey and 3:50 Le Cellier, but everything else was at the time I asked for.

Well I'm glad to know it because I always felt like I was missing out on something, but I couldn't bring myself to go there, as I mentioned previously, the menu doesn't appeal to me at all! We couldn't get Ohana dinner at all this time :( C'est la vie! We have great ressies and I'm excited to try 3 new places for us this time (Coral Reef, Whispering Canyon, and Teppan Edo)

Indeed. Watching the sun go down and then seeing the castle light up, that's brilliant.

I am answering without looking at what others have said.

I would say the top 5 are:

CRT
Le Cellier
Boma
Coral Reef
Ohana

My personal eperience...

CRT
Chef Mickey's-breakfast
Le Cellier
V&A Chef's table
Tusker House-breakfast

For our trip it was:

- CRT for breakfast (was able to get dinner right away)
- Le Cellier both lunch and dinner (was able to get lunch)
- 1900 Park Fare dinner
- Akershus breakfast

We did end up getting all of these, but it took a LOT of patience. Since my 90 day ADR booking on 9/2 I finally got all of my ADRs set to the way that I want them....no more tweaking I am FINISHED :cool1: Now I can relax and just count down the days til we leave.

Ok so I kind of find this funny, the places that alot of people have trouble getting into we are able to get right into like Le Cellier for dinner, 1900, Boma, which the past few trips we have gotten it the day of the meal we want to eat there.

1. CRT still can't get in for the past few years
2. Le Cellier to change a ressie
3. Chef Mickey's for dinner
4. Chef's De France
5. Mickey's Hoop Dee Doo

I know completely different from everyone else
