Top 5 Dinners at Epcot

We've done Germany a couple of times, and it was pretty decent. Also did the one in Norway, which was OK. Haven't really eaten at any of the other places yet. I am looking forward to LeCellier next Saturday night. Have read some pretty good reviews of it.

Akershus, Le Cellier, Marrakesh, R&C, Biergarten- in that order. These are fairly authentic foods and are good value for the money.

Marrakesh has 'toned down' their food a bit, which is a shame :(

Le Cellier has excellent food, much better than years past.

Akershus is outstanding.

The other two are here becuase they are better than the rest, but nothing exceptional IMHO.

I personally wouldn't eat at more than one or two during a vacation, there are much better restaurants elsewhere in the World.

You are going to get TONS of opinions- this is just my 2 cents worth :)

my favorites in Epcot are L'Originale Alfredo di Roma in Italy and Teppanyaki Dining Room in Japan. At Teppanyaki you sit a large table with the habatchi grill in the middle, Benihana style. Honorable mentions would be the restaurant in Canada and the Garden Grill with the revolving restaurant. It really depends on the type of food that you like and what you want to spend. If you are looking for burgers then you can get the "best burgers in the park" according to my son right at Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club. Good luck and enjoy!!!!:drinking1

mmmmm
hands down the two best are Biergarten and Le Cellier. Then I'd say Alfredos' and Rose and Crown. For us, it drops off after that. Mexico is so-so (food is ok but the drinks are very weak) and Norway.

We'll be wining and dining in about 4 weeks ourselves!!

Top 5 restaurants in EPCOT, that's tough. Like someone else said, you will probably get a "ton" of opinons. In my opinon, they are...

Restaurant Marrakesh
Mitsukoshi's Teppanyaki
Chefs De France
Le Cellier
Biergarten

But like I said, this is my opinon, if you would have asked this same question six months ago the list would probably have been different. There are a couple of restaurants that have recieved really good reviews lately, like Rose and Crown and the Garden Grill. Unfortunately I can't afford to eat everywhere on each trip so I can only comment on what I know first hand.

You don't specify 'sit down' or 'counter service' so I have to say that we thoroughly enjoyed Sunshine Season Food Fair in The Land. What an awesome food court with outstanding selections and nice, fresh food! Not the usual 'burger joint' and a place where you can definately eat healthy!

As for four more: Teppanyaki, Beirgarten, Tangeirine Cafe

We've never eaten at Le Cellier, although that's on my list of 'to trys'

We have eaten in Mexico (several years ago) and it was just ok.

For us it would be,

For best overall food:
France
Canada
Japan
Morroco
Germany

For best theming/atmosphere:
Mexico

For best Illuminations view/nicest outdoor seating:
UK -Rose & Crown

For best lounge/bar:
Tied between Japan and UK

Let's see...

Le Cellier
Chefs de France
Nine Dragons
Rose and Crown
Restaurant Marrakesh

I also loved Biergarten, though. And we'll be doing Restaurant Akershus next weekend, I'm excited about that one.

Bistro de Paris
Coral Reef
Le Cellier
Les Chefs de France

Plus, there are tons more in the BWI, YC, and BC area: Flying Fish, Spoodles, Yachtsman Steakhouse...

LeCellier- Our absolute favorite-Both adults and kids loved it!
Marrakesh- Liked it alot. Food is good, entertainment is great!
Coral Reef- Love the food, love the view...don't love the price!
Chef's De France- food is delicious! Price is high & atmosphere
is stiffling.
Biergarten- food is good, the show and atmosphere are worth it
alone!
Teppanyaki- no better than any local hibatchi-style place from
home.
L'Originale Alfrdeo- mom always says, "If you have nothing good
to say... don't say anything!

Le Cellier---we never miss this one

Have also tried---
Resturant Akershus--Meal was "OK" very good "rice cream", didn't like all the fish
Nine Dragons--will never go back again

Trying Biergarten in July---

Bistro de Paris
Teppanyaki
Rose & Crown
Nine Dragons (I know, no one agrees)
Yakatori House or Lotus Blossom (Counter Service)

In no particular order:

Les Chefs De France
Marrakesh
Garden Grill
Le Cellier
Italy

I would say I like those all about the same.

Our favorite sit-down in Le Cellier, closely followed by Teppenyaki. For counter service DH LOVES the fish & chips in the UK, and I go for the sushi at the Matsu No Ma lounge (OK, not counter, but quick & cheap!). We love to eat at EPCOT and haven't had a bad meal yet. I look forward to trying Marrakesh on our November trip.

I know a lot of people disagree, but the truth is we just can't get enough of the San Angel Inn in Mexico--atmosphere, atmosphere, atmosphere! Although I've had better Mexican, the food is nevertheless very good and the servers were attentive and friendly despite initial shyness. But there's nothing that can beat the sensation of eating "al fresco" in a Mexican courtyard under an evening sky with a volcano simmering over your shoulder while happy tourists float by on the river of time, all while up-lifting Mexican music keeps you in the most up-beat mood. You can eat anywhere for nourishment, but this is the best place to feed your soul.

IMHO:

1. Alfredo's
2. Tepanyaki Dining at Japan
3. Rose and Crown
4. Coral Reef
5. Le Cellier

The Nine Dragons for the Duck for two is delicious. I have been looking all over south FL to find a dinner as good as the one we had there.

MY opinion. Even my 6 year old a picky eater enjoyed our dinner there.
