Top 3 parks for kids age 7 &11?

We will only be visiting the parks for 3 days and are undecided of which parks to visit. My son is 7 and my daughter is 11. I appreciate any advise. Gregg

I would have to pay the extra to park hop!! I wouldn't be able to choose just three. Perhaps you could get together a list as a family and see which rides are the ones you must see on the trip and skip the park with the shortest list. Good luck!

I would go for
MK (way to magical to miss)
MGM/Studio - action packed...TONS OF FUN
AK - Dino Bone Yard, Dino thats walking around....my DD loves it.

Just my opinion, but with those ages and I had to choose one park to leave out, it would be MGM. With the exception of the 2 big rides, this park misses the age group of your kids. It is either shows for little ones or shows from movies before their time. Just my opinion and what I would do.

My kids are 9 (boy) & 11 (girl). Their favorite parks are:

1) MGM-love rockin rollercoaster, millionaire, movie ride, backlot tour & the general atmosphere

2) Epcot-love test track, illuminations

3) Magic Kingdom-this use to be their #1

4) Animal Kingdom-I really like this park, they however find it boring

I would park hop also.My kids are 10,8,6,and 1.The older three love Test Track,and Soarin at EPCOT.They love RnRC,Tower of Terror(DS10) and the Star Wars ride at MGM.They enjoyed Animal Kingdom but a 1/2 day was plenty.There favorite was MK.One day was not enough on our first trip.Hope some of this helps.

My DD11 & DS7 vote for:

Magic Kingdom - love all of it!!
MGM - always enjoy it
Animal Kingdom - they love Kilamanjaro Safari & getting the autographs at Camp Minnie/Mickey

They would pick Epcot to skip.
By the way, we were there just this past late April/early May..DD was 10 then but still close to yours.

I personally do not feel like EPCOT or MGM are geared towards smaller children. I think I would have to choose EPCOT, however.
