Top 3 Attractions for WDW

World Showcase is particularly awesome, because there is only 2 rides, yet it still is so popular, and with good reason.

Some may gripe, but at Epcot Spaceship Earth is a biggie for me...I love vintage dark rides!

I could not agree more with Space Ship earth if I added a 4th attraction I would say that would be it!

Expedition Everest-a roller coaster that does not make me queasy and give me a headache!! And I still scream at the yeti shadow every time!!

Tower of terror-just genius, never gets old!!

Splash mountain-disney at its best!! Always so much fun, reminds me of my first trip in 1996 with my parents, the photo is still up at my mums house!!

You bring up a great point on Expedition Everest! My wife doesn't enjoy coasters (with exception to Hulk at IOA...which KICKED MY BUTT!), but she also loves Expedition Everest...its quite impressive how smooth of a ride it actually is! Now if I can only convince her to do ToT with me!

AMEN! There is just something to me about riding a decades old ride. Its the closest I think one can get to going back in time, you get a multi-sensory experience, someone did 30+ years ago. That sorta thing doesn't happen in museums.

Kilimanjaro Safari
Expedition Everest
Mickey's Philharmagic

I didn't include this because It's not really an attraction, but my favorite thing about going o Disney is the food. Themed restaurants, adorably decorated foods, and being able to eat and drink my way around the world in a single day, I can't narrow it down to one thing.

Philharmagic...well played. Well played indeed.

And haha...I was seriously planning on making another post based around top foods in the parks! Yeah Disney does food on a scale of awesome, not seen anywhere else!

I'll have to agree with the OP on Haunted Mansion...

The other two would be TOT and POTC

1. Soarin'--if you've ever wanted to experience hand gliding without the fear of plunging to your death.
2. Turtle Talk with Crush--because adults can enjoy it as much as kids, but on a different level.
3. Expedition Everest--smooth as silk but sad the Yeti no longer moves.

I have a love/hate relationship with Tower of Terror. Love the theme and special effects, hate all of that dropping. :scared1:

The DW and I REALLY enjoyed Turtle Talk with Crush.

I'm also glad to see other people are choosing attractions at parks that aren't at Magic Kingdom!

I'm always fascinated to read on the boards people think DHS needs a drastic overhaul. The DW and I like that park 2nd to MK. Not to say we don't love Epcot or AK...but on our last trip we opted to do 2 days at MK and DHS over Epcot and AK. ...with that said, on our next trip I'm okay just seeing MK and Epcot. I still have much to do and see at Epcot.

DHS is my least favorite park, not because I don't appreciate the attractions but because logistically I find it difficult. By it's nature, a lot of the attractions (i.e. shows) take a long time and are scheduled so if we want to go to a show it may be another 25 minutes, so we go to another attraction but by the time we get out we miss the next scheduled show for the attraction we set out for. The other choice is to kill those 25 minutes doing nothing. KWIM? Personally, our favorites are Epcot followed by AK. I could spend all day every day in Epcot. :goodvibes

You bring up a GREAT point. I would love to know the theory behind how they laid out the park...its not easy getting around, and some stuff is almost hidden. That would be my major issue with the park. Getting from the Lights Action side of the park over to ToT in the afternoon isn't an easy task...especially when under the gun of a Fast Pass.

I love so much of Epcot. In fact the idea (Walts idea, may be the coolest) for a 'themepark'. While I'm HUGE on vintage rides...I just feel like the future world area needs some upkeep. Not necessarily anything other than a facelift...but I don't know, something is off, and I don't know what exactly. My only complaint about World Showcase is, I'd love to see a new country or two, but I know thats a wish many have long had, and one I don't see happening any time soon.

Even though I have been to WDW only once (sad I know) and going on my second trip this September..

My favorite rides were

3) Soarin'- Don't like heights so I would never do real hang gliding

2) Toy Story Mania- I'm a huge Pixar fan and love playing games :)

1) Star Tours- Went on it 3 times and I'm a geek so it's awesome fun!

Can't wait to go back for more fun

I've only been twice. So I hear you, I wish my number was way higher.

I assume the lines weren't bad when you went on Star Tours? When we went last October...the lines were so short, my wife made me go on it 5 times over 2 trips to DHS. Who was I to complain, being a SW fan from birth, haha. My only gripe was, We have the same experience multiple times...was hoping for a little more original trilogy...we got a lot of prequel shows.

PS LOVE the Wall-E on your ticker....FAVORITE Pixar movie!

I'm going to cheat and not include Illuminations because I don't count it as an attraction ;)

But still this is really difficult but I'm going to go...

The Haunted Mansion, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (don't judge me, I'm a child at heart), and.... Dinosaur.

The only ride last trip I didn't get on, I wanted to, but line was too much, was Winnie Pooh!

Dinosaur kicked my butt. I knew the cars moved a lot, but WOW! Haha.

Winnie the Pooh is great ;) You need to try it out.

And I know Dinosaur is really crazy but that's why I love it. It's funny because I usually get motion sick but on that ride I just throw my hands up and enjoy :thumbsup2 However, my DW feels like you do and thinks that it moves way too much (and that the dinosaur is too scary at the end )

3. Ellen's Energy Adventure. No matter how many times I see this, it always makes me laugh. Ellen just cracks me up and I love the banter with "snobby" JLC. I love it in all of its cheesyness :-D

2. The Jungle Cruise. This is another ride that just cracks me up, most of the time. When the CM is "on", I laugh (and groan) like a little kid riding it for the first time. Sometimes the CM will just go through the motions (yawn! haha), but when you get one who's so excited to be there....I love it!

1. The Haunted Mansion. No explanation needed :-)
