Hey all,
I’m looking for Top 3 splittable counter service meals.
Mine would be
Caseys:dogs and fries
Tangerine cafe: chicken and lamb shwarma platter
Flame Tree: Ribs and chicken combo.

We are looking for ways to stretch the dollar. What do you guys think?

Pulled pork nachos with pineapple salsa from Capt. Cooks at Polynesia

Nachos from Pecos Bill (MK). We were able to easily share them for a late night meal with lots of toppings from their toppings bar. Guess we love nachos!

Nudel gratin from Sommerfest (Epcot) is huge and very rich, two of use couldn’t finish it.

Tusker House is not counter service; it's a buffet.

You know, it's funny - when I read the OP, I didn't even process that they said Tusker; my brain heard Flame Tree (pretty sure that's what they meant).

And to answer the OP, definitely the shawarma platters at Tangierine.

A few years ago I had a Norwegian Club sandwich at Kringla that was huge!

Not sure what else - I haven't been to ColumbiaHH in MK lately - do they still have a combo platter of sme kind? Fish/chicken or something?

AK - Flame tree - The ribs and chicken, pulled pork samplers, or the ribs and chicken combo.
RainForest while not a QS - you can easily split the appetizer adventure for around 20.00 bucks, DH and I share it and leave quite full.

MK - Casey - most of the hot and fries can easily be shared the foot long chili, cheese is pretty tasty.
Cosmic rays - chicken dinner can be shared.
Columbia Harbor House - They have to platters that are easily shareable - There is one with shrimp, chicken and fish, fries and corn, and then one platter with chicken and fish, and the other shrimp and fish.

Epcot - There are so many options here,

DHS - This is where I struggle.. We really don't like any of the quick serve here.

You might want to think about heading over to one of the resort and checking out the food courts, there is alot of options out there. It gives you a chance to check out the resort, plus it gives you a break from the parks.

Another thought is that you can share meals at table service locations (except at all you can eat or family style). You could have an appetizer night, or share main entree's. When the Dd's were with us, so party of 4, between 1 appetizer, and the bread basket, 2 entrees, and 1 or 2 dessert we would be full and ready to go.

This does take some planning, and cooperation from everyone, when meal sharing.

Ohhh one more thought, breakfast in the room is easy and this can free up some cash for in the park meals.

Flame Tree definitely. Cosmic Ray's also has large portions. Fairfax Faire served large portions the last time we were there but the quality was a bit lacking so I would shift to Pecos Bills

In addition to Columbia Harbor House’s platters as mentioned above, my family loves Les Halles in Epcot for budget eats. There aren’t really shareable items, but we find getting a bacon/cheese roll each or ham/cheese croissant each (about $4 each) and sharing a soup (around $5) makes a great meal. Sometimes we each get a soup and split a baguette (about $3 for a whole one).

If you're looking for something super cheap, go to Les Halles in Epcot. You can get a whole baguette for three bucks and they'll give you a handful of butter packets if you ask. Nothing better than a fresh baguette and butter.

If you want to splurge a little get a lobster bisque, too, and dunk chunks of bread in it. Delish--and I promise you, this will fill up two people! All for less than $8.

Probably not exactly a balanced meal though, haha.

The more expensive things at Rays, including the half chicken. Sadly, the last time, the Rib and chicken was not on the menu. Awww.
Schwarma platter at Tangerine.
Half the menu at Flame Tree. The Combos definitely. Even the half chicken could serve an adult and a kid. By the way you want the ribs here.

Sunshine Seasons has some big salads/platters/sandwiches than can be shared.

My youngest and I always split the honey chicken at Yak & Yeti local foods, along with a side of chicken fried rice (and sometimes an order of egg rolls). We never finish it all. So filling.
