I just checked this out, and both of the sites are great! The virtual visit is really going to help with my DD, who wants to know what every ride "does". Also, I will be using my TIVO for the upcoming programs.

Greetings all and thanks for the website tips. You may be interested in seeing the full list of roughly 200 ranked Disney sites that I just posted online. To see this list, just go to the homepage of TheDisneyPortal and choose "Top Disney Sites (All)" in the left navigation pane.

Some comments to disboards members who have posted on this thread:

jcsgoog: Thanks for posting about us. I'd be interested in hearing how your heard about TheDisneyPortal. I think all of our traffic is coming from your post as of today so thanks a million!

dbm20th and MJMcBride: Thanks for the tip on Tim Devine's Disney Photo Blog. This is really a great site and it appears 102nd out of the roughly 200 Disney sites in the poll. This is low but I expect it to pickup after his site gets more traction and traffic. You also made a comment that Monorails is not a Disney site. I agree completely and will take it off the list in one of my next updates.

disneyday1013: Thanks for the comment about DisneyZone. I've upped its user rating based on your feedback and the site is currently 61st. I know that's a bit low but most of the rating is objective being based on data from Google and Alexa. It was important to us to keep the rating as objective as possible while still allowing some user feedback.

SnwflkCts: Thanks for posting the URL to TheDisneyPortal since I really just a newbie around here and don't have URL posting priveleges. And I'm glad you enjoyed some online shopping

mommyintn and Jaybrad: Thanks for suggesting DisneyWorldTrivia, which appears 33rd. Not bad.

mecllap: Intercot entered into the Top 10 shortly after you posted your message as we got some of the issues with our algorithm worked out. In the latest ranking Intercot is ranked 9th.

barrie: Thanks for suggesting your sites (lenses). We are working on a way to include your sites overall given that some of our data sources don't offer data for sites on subdomains (although there are some suggestions).

peemagg: Thanks a lot for letting us know about ExploreTheMagic. It now appears on the list and is ranked 34th.

ajcolorado: You made a number of good suggestions and we've added them to the list. DisneyWorldLinks was ranked a bit low, probably due to low rankings on Google and Alexa. I'll double-check our user rating scores and will update this per your suggestion. OurLaughingPlace is now on the list and is ranked 31st. Haven't added BuildABetterMouseTrip yet but will do so within the next few updates. Looks like a cool site. MouseSurplus is ranked 48th. You are the first to point out Tim Devine's site TheMagicInPixels which he runs in addition to his blog photo site. It was ranked 112th but could improve as it gets more traffic (I think it's a new site).

And I should thank Tim Devine himself, aka "timned88", as many of us think your Disney photos are the best. As I've said, I'm sure your ranking will improve as your site gets more traffic (you probably are already receiving a nice bump from this thread alone).

The new rankings are up. We've added about 40 new sites. Tim, your photo blog and website TheMagicInPixels stayed about the same, not bad considering how many new sites were added. Yours is one site I have my eye on since I think your sites are fairly new and my guess is that your traffic will continue to grow.

Oh yeah, the update is avaible at TheDisneyPortal <<<...D-O-T...>>> com . Sorry, I don't have enough posts to post a real URL yet. Once you go to the site, you'll see a list of the "Top 20 Disney Sites". If you want to see the full 240 or so sites we rank, click on the link on the left called "Top 20 Disney Sites (All)".

Overall, the top 6 sites remain unchanged, with JustDisney and HiddenMickeys being the sites showing a positive change near the top.

Please let me know what you think about MuppetCentral being on the list. Should it be? Is it really Disney?

That's all for now. I had a productive night while watching Toy Story with the family, but that's all for now. I'll contribute more to this discussion later in the weekend to see how the sites everyone likes on this board fared with the update.

It's basically CM's posting about some of the stupid things they see guests doing. So for some, it might taint the magic, but sometimes it's great for a little chuckle. Especially if you've just come from WDW and witnessed a few prime candidates.

I'm not sure how recently this gets updated, an dit isn't really a website per say, but it has TONS of info about ticket pricing, and food for though if one is considering trading in old passes.
