So . . . reports say it will be opening in 2016. Any chance it will be open in mid June? I don't know how long it takes to turn one restaurant into a different restaurant. On Top Chef they do it in about 48 hours!

Oooooo, hoping for October. If I were a betting person, I'd bet more likely on early November to catch the holiday crowds but fingers crossed for at least some soft-openings in October. Kids would love it.

We are there the first week of November and I have all my fingers and toes crossed hoping for Toothsome's to be open!

Bluer family and psctang and family are at the darkside this week.
i'll send them a text and see what they can find out about this place and report back here.

They are further ahead I believe, did not study it. I can check later.

I've not heard of this!!! Is this going to be a restaurant or a food based attraction?? Is this based on Willy Wonka (it sure looks like it)! I'll be visiting Universal next September and I am intrigued! :)

This had made my family so sad!
We're big basketball fans and always ate at NBA City on our Universal days - we have photos of our boys with their hands in the player's imprints...a 'watch me grow' kinda thing

I don't have any intel, but I would think October is a logical guess if they want to get the HHN crowds and work out the kinks before the holiday crowds. We were there in October last year and NBC Sports Grill & Brew had just opened a couple weeks prior.

I'd love it if they got it finished in September, but that's just around 60 days away - so not long :D

They got awhile to go, but would have to say by HHN will be a target date.

I am really looking forward to this. I have a good feeling it could be open for our late October/early November trip. Not from any specific intel.. I just think it seems possible.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We'll be there in late November and my older son is a chocaholic. He'll love this place.

I will take photos later but a lot of stuff was added overnight.
