Toothache!! take my mind off it

I've had niggling toothache for the past couple of days which erupted last night into "worse than childbirth - ain't no whisky gonna cure this sucker" pain!! Got an emergency dental appointment in 2 hours - so not long to wait.

We're off in 2 days and have so much to do but will worry about that later

Does anyone have any CSR piccies to cheer me up - we are hoping to go to CSR on the free dining plan next Aug / Sept.

Just back from the dentist - root canal treatment - am numb from the neck up at the moment

Does anyone know a good dentist on International Drive just in case I need further treatment when we're over there. Thank God for insurance policies - don't fancy paying US prices

Just make sure you're insured as they don't usually cover exisiting conditions

You know what insurance are like - great at taking your money but not so good at giving it back!

Hopefully it's all sorted and you won't need them.

I feel your pain. Although my (partly through for 7yrs) wisdom tooth has died down now, this time tomorrow I will be in the chair having it removed. Thought it best to do so - didn't want it flaring back up while on holiday. This time was worse than others, so much so that I couldn't open my jaw very far and it hurt to eat. Not something I want to repeat while trying to enjoy the thrills of Disney!

Update: Things did not go according to plan and Twilight Terror (my DD) has been referred on to another specialist dentist. Poor love was in the chair for almost an hour, being very brave whilst in lots of pain,but the dentist (who specialises in wisdom tooth removal) was unable to remove the tooth from jaw although he had loosened it completely

She is now on very strong painkillers and antibiotics and just hoping that we may be able to resolve the problem before we travel - fingers crossed everyone

OMG I don't believe it! Im off on saturday30th and I have a toothache too. I had it all last week. Its stopped today, touch wood. Apparently rubbing Lemon juice is a great way to relieve it. I personally just pack myself up with Paracetamols.< spelling? Anyway have fun. Maybe toothaches are normal before you go to Disney!

When I had an infection some years ago my dentist recommended Veganin to deal with the pain. He was right as it worked when nothing else would.

I've also found oil of clove helpful (I hate the taste, but the pain relief is good).

But I often find I get toothache just by thinking about it, especially before an important event.
