Toontown changes?

I was reading on another board that a couple came back from disney and were told that they would be getting rid of the rides etc and changing toontown. Are they changing anything (I assume they aren't getting rid of toontown all together) at all or just a stupid rumor?

I have no clue ut you know disney always changeing. toontown could use something new though.

Perhaps they are finnaly going to bring it up to par with Disneyland's Toontown, which is amazing. Compared to the California version the Toontown in Florida is a joke.

Well, I think they would only improve the "town." I would think that is one of the major things that brings young families to WDW- to see the characters. I have never see the DL Toontown, but I think they could add one more ride to TT.

If I remember correctly, Toon Town was never meant to be a permanant fixture @ Disney World. They could add a few other kiddie rides to help with the traffic flow down there.
