Did they bulldoze TT yet? I'll sleep much better knowing that it is gone. Of course clowns kinda freak me out...

According to DW last weekend was the LAST weekend for Toon Town.... Some of us will miss parts of it. My DD height was measured by Minnie's mail box.

TT Fair is closed and the only thing not being destroyed are the circus tents.

You sure about that? Thought i had heard at one point that those existing tent structures were in bad shape and would be rebuilt. Considering they were originally built as "temporary" structures for Mickey's Birthday Land over 20yrs ago, the rumor was plausible enough that I didn't really question it.

Just to add to this discussion....the new Magic Kingdom park maps make no mention of Toon Town. We have been here for two weeks and actually walked through Toon Town on the last day it was open. We were in Magic Kingdom again today and picked up a new map. It was then that we noticed that Toon Town was gone from the map.

The only thing that will be left standing is the Barnstormer. Everything else will be gone, including all tents. Dumbo will be closed and moved shortly.

:headache: Dumbo isnt going anywhere anytime soon. It would be foolish to pluck another ride from the park prematurely when they just took out an entire section of the park. Same with Snow White. Logistics come into play here heavily.

As for Toon Town, the houses are already empty, but everything else is pretty much the same as of yesterday. There's a temp-wall up at the trainstation but it still stops there for water. A perma-wall will be errected soon and will don Coming Attraction posters for the circus which is already being mentioned in the audio on the train.

Maybe they should move some of the toon town stuff to make a huge play area for kids in Downtown Disney? No characters of though:confused3
