We are back from our trip. I have to say I will NEVER go during grad nights again. It was super busy(busier) than summer but, that is not what I am here to ask about.

We were doing a lot of pics because of photopass+. We had never done pics in toontown before but decided we would.
After waiting about 40 minutes to meet Mickey we were let into the room. There were 2 women in front of us to meet with Mickey. He was very flirtatious with both of them. I don't mean a little inappropriate...he actually acted like he was going to grab the one ladies breast. I had my kids with me and was NOT impressed. It would have been one thing if they were the only ones in there but, to do it with my girls in the room(one of which is 12 and really noticed) was wrong. And before anyone says it was probably a girl(hubby said this too) I say does it matter? This is a place with children present.
So I guess what I am asking, do I tell Disney what I think or just let it go?

Honestly to comment, I would have had to see what exactly happened. I'm sure it's open to interpretation. The fact that there WERE other people in the room leads me to believe it wasn't intended to be lewd. Also, many times Mickey is played by a girl! I know that doesn't mean it couldn't have happened, just some food for thought.

It was inappropriate enough the camera guy said something to Mickey.

In that case if you feel it was offensive to you and your family and would like to prevent it from happening again, yes, contact Disneyland with the time and date of the incident.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but was it super busy all day or just at night?

Definitely call or email or write a letter to Disneyland about it. Be sure to be specific about the date & time that you were in Toon Town, so they can determine which employee was Mickey Mouse at that time of day. I agree with your outrage over it...that's inappropriate behavior for any cartoon character.

Yea I agree. OP you saw it and your kids saw it so its up to you if it was offensive and since it seems you did see it as offensive then I would say report it to DL and let them know what exactly happened so they can atleast look into it.

Please do call or write to Disney about this. I would have been upset too at how inappropriate that was and I'm far from being a pearl-clutching type.

You and your 12-year-old girl saw this and noticed the inappropriateness-- I can only say that you have more restraint than I would have. I would've let that Mickey have a piece of my mind and I would have gone over to City Hall and reported it, so please don't feel hesitant about saying something. This is NOT ok. Regardless of how the women themselves felt about it, it was very poor behavior to model in front of kids and SO against what Mickey stands for. Girl, guy, who cares? It's wrong. I totally agree with you. I have a 12-year-old and 10-year-old twins (all girls) and would have been livid.

You saw it happen, you saw the photopass photographer take issue with it, yeah, I would contact Disney. Let them know the time and date and any other details you recall.

Thanks guys. I hate to report someone because I know that having a job in this economy is important but, the way Micky acted I just felt icky afterward. If we hadn't already waited 40 mins I would have just left and went to take pics elsewhere but my younger dd wouldn't have understood.

To give you an idea...we were there from the 24-30th. I felt our slowest day was Saturday. The next slowest was the 24 hour event. The rest of the time was so busy starting around 11am that we once just had to leave DL and go to DCA because I was having a panic attack in the crowds. I am a people person and crazy for crowds but this was INSANE. We have gone in June and July(4th of July) and it wasn't as crazy. I will say that DCA was great in the day because all the grads were at Disneyland.

I have to add...if I witnessed that behavior, I would absolutely report it, as I would hate for any other guests to encounter the same situation.

Do you remember exactly what the photographer said to Mickey, verbatim? I'd be curious to know.

When you report this incident with the date, time, etc., don't paraphrase or give Disney a 'general' recap of what was said. Tell them exactly what was done by Mickey and what was said by the photographer, word for word. Be detailed. Keep in mind that this will likely mean that someone will lose his or her job, and there is no room for gray area if you feel strongly about what this Mickey did. When you write Disney about it you may be asked to repeat the story again at some point, so have all of the facts clear and straight.

I've encountered characters that seemed to be a little 'friendlier' and more aggressive than others over the years, or they gesture at a shirt that someone is wearing to draw attention to the graphic on the shirt and it ends up looking questionable, but I've neither witnessed nor experienced anything that could be considered crossing a line just yet (to me). It happens, I'm sure. The people playing characters are flawed humans, and occasionally will let their human sides overrule the character sides.

Sherry said exactly what I was going to say. :) Almost word for word. :) Do you remember what the photographer said? I would be very interested to know. Also, be sure to be detailed when you send a message to Disney, if you feel sure that it was really a lewd gesture and not a gesture towards her shirt or something (last time we met Mickey and Pluto it was DD16's 16th birthday, we were dining in Club 33 and he made a gesture towards the birthday button she was wearing, right above her breast, I'm sure that could have been interpreted as a lewd gesture if one was unaware of what he was gesturing at) follow your instincts and make a report.
