Awesome WAMUMof4 I was really looking forward to the TA. But hubby is not interested in doing the cold locations.. We live In the north of WA so any temperature less than 35 is a blessing right now..but I think the 11 degrees scared him a bit...lol
This years transatlantic would be fantastic though.. I'm sure you will have an amazing time...
I am very excited about it... So many people have said how great the Canal is..I have been research like mad already..lol

Oh I promise I will do a trip report ..I was very slack when we got back in May and didn't do a trip report. I think it took me to long to come down..lol
The Panama Canal had always played on my mind so when we didn't really like the colder stops on the TA we were quite excited..
My oldest boy is going to read and learn about the Panama Canal so he knows what it is..

It's all too exciting, I can't wait and I get to go to my second Disney area as I'm going to get to go to Disneyland this time and not Disney world... It will be good to see how really different they are..

The flights will get cheaper too.. Flying to LA and then just a one way to Miami for the cruise.

Spend 2 days maybe in San Diego where we disembark to do Sea world and the San Diego zoo. Then to Hollywood..woot!!!!

I'm not sure if you have foxtel but they often have the making of the
Panama Canal on there we made our kids watch it and they didn't know why

My advice would be plan to do DCL excursions our bus was late back to the ship in Puerto Vallarta and it's not somewhere I'd like to be left behind I'm pretty sure we were late in Cartagena as well as we couldn't buy anything at the port will have to ask DH.
