Too tall to ride?

My husband is 7 feet tall. He's been able to get on most rides at Disney, except Space Mountain (such a bummer to find out after waiting in that long line!!). There are still a lot of rides he hasn't tried. I'm wondering about a couple in particular, like test track at Epcot, and speedway since those cars seem pretty tiny. Any thoughts on if he can go on those rides? Any other rides at either Magic Kingdom or Epcot that very tall people probably couldn't get on?

is he paper thin or pooh sized?

The best thing to do is ask the CM when you get up if they feel he'll fit with his height. It's possible they might let you see the ride seat prior to getting in line and wasting your time if they aren't sure.

space mountain, he should be ok but do not sit in rows 1 or 4. it's not obvious until your in the seat but your feet go under the seat of the person in front of you and plenty of room. it might be interesting getting in and out of the car though but he should be ok..

TT you can feel a little side to side squished but leg room wise I remember that being spacious. much more than a real car. (get a second opinion, it's been awhile since I rode).

7dmt I think is going to be a problem, at 6'4 the lap bar is pretty close not fitting over my knees and there isn't much room to shift your legs around as your legs are between the U bar (google for some pictures of it).

astro orbitor will be an issue that tall.

barnstormer if you have kids he could probably sit kind of sideways behind them in his own row but that one is a knee banger.

dinosaur if it's opened he can probably fit but that rides tosses you around so he'll want to make sure his knees are in a spot they can't suddenly slam into the seat in front of him.

mission space might be a little tight.

RnR he may have issues with the over the shoulder restraint but ask to make sure.

The rest nothing is really standing out to me as a don't give it a shot or a little warning about how it might be...

Thanks for your reply! He is quite thin for his height, but has VERY long legs compared to his torso.

We did try Space Mountain a few years ago and he did not fit. They tried him in the front and the back and it just wouldn't happen. Thunder mountain was fine.

We haven't been on 7dmt or astro orbitor so that is good to know.

I am pretty sure he went on Barnstormer on our last trip and fit. Not comfortably, but well enough.

We haven't been to Epcot together.

One of my main concerns is that we won't discover he doesn't fit until reaching the ride, particularly if he goes on a ride with kids by himself (like if I was sitting out the ride with the baby) and then the kids won't be able to go on the ride either. Hopefully the cast members would be allow me to come back in with the kids without having to wait in line again.

I am 6'6" and I have a friend that is 7' tall. He fits in cars I would never drive, etc... He seems to have a high tolerance for tight places.

That being said. He might have a hard time with DHS RNR. I mostly find the upper torso the issue on that ride... I only ride once a trip as it is tight for me.

You can help by talking the backpack etc on the rides. I sit cross legged on most rides. The tightest ride I fit on is California SCREAMIN in Disneyland. I have only .5 inch of wiggle room on that ride.

Epcot SOARIN will be fine.

DH is 6'7" he can fit himself in everything however chooses not to ride space mountain because it hurts his back (too bumpy for the way he sits). He has even ridden the goody coaster. Some rides have a test car so you can see if he fits before getting on line. Ask the cm at the start of the line if there is one you can try
