I am going to Disney Oct 7-15 and air is on the rise. It was 247.40pp last week on AA but now they went up to 267.40pp... not a huge rise but big enough. Should I bite the bullet and book or should I wait it out for Southwest (which I never flown) or see if the other airlines drop???? I am in fear of Delta folding and airlines going up because of the demand and selling out. What would you do? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!! :confused3

If you know you are definitely going, I'd go ahead and book the airfare. I know most of the airlines just raised there flights by $50.00. If you book now and the price is lowered, most of the airlines will give you a credit to use within one year of the orginal purchase date. With fuel prices continuing to rise they will keep raising the price of tkts.

Just check the airline’s policy before you book. I know most will simply issue you a credit/voucher if the fare for your EXACT itinerary drops AND you request it, but the occasional airline might consider this a ‘change’ and charge you a fee. No, I’m not naming any such airline J but this is what I was told the last time I asked (fall 2005)
