Too old for stroller?

I ahve a 4 and 2 year old. I was wondering if wepole would think me strange for having a double stroller. Honestly i cant handle them without them.

We took DSs 4 & 7, rented a double, & were grateful to have it. They didn't always both ride, but it gave us a place for the stuff & most importantly a place to give the kids a break from the sun. The boys are very fair skinned & it really makes a difference when we try to keep them out of the sun. My 7 yr old still wants the stroller.

I just keep reminding him that he'll be pushing me some day, so enjoy it while it lasts.

We are going in Dec and are bringing a stroller for my dd7....the older kids don't like waiting around for her...so we have a stroller just for WDW in the basement....she is fairly petite so it works nicely....probably will be the last time though....I really hate losing all the storage space though...

I took a stroller last year for DS who had just turned 4. I would NEVER have made it without one! Little legs get way too tired... I'm not taking one this year but will rent one in a heartbeat!

I say go for the stroller, especially if it is hot. My kids get so tired out with the heat. I rented a double each day for dds 8 & 4...they did SO much better then before we rented it! Plus I can keep track of the 4yo easier (she likes to wander)!

i have a double stroller.I use it for my 8 month old and my 7 year old gets jealous if he dont get to ride lol.we are going to take it next month when we go.

Don't even think twice about it!!! We just got back from a trip where I went and met 2 girlfriends there. We all have 2 kids and all had strollers for both of them. We met because our oldest kids are the same age...all 4. Two of us also have 2 year olds and one has a 1 year old. All 6 kids were in the strollers. The two of us that were there with just us and kids had double strollers and my one friend who was there with her husband too had 2 singles and stroller connectors if they needed them.

My sons are even tall so they look older than 4 and 2. My 4 year old doesn't really ride in the stroller at home unless it's the jogging stroller for walks etc. but there is no way we could make it without a stroller for him. There are PLENTY of 4, 5 and 6 year olds in strollers at WDW.

Our trip at Christmas will probably be the last one where we bring the double. It will be early December 2005 before we are back. On that trip I'll probably just bring one for my youngest and rent for the oldest if he needs it. My main reason for that is that he's so tall already (44 ~ 45" and about 45 lbs) that in another year he won't be comfy in our stroller and with his little brother being big too (38½" and 37 lbs at 2½) their combined weight will be too much for our double.

Bring the stroller. You will do so much walking and little legs get tired very fast. We brought ours for our DD6 on our last trip. I was glad that we had it.
I think on our next trip we are going to try to go without it but if we are having a long day and she is tired I would rent one, especially if we were doing the World Showcase in Epcot.
