My son loves the characters and I've gotten some great pictures of him interacting with the characters. He's now 13 (but has autism and about 5 years old developmentally due to MR). Is he too old for them? We go over the characters signature whenever we get home and whenever there's a lull and he gets bored.

no!! i am well over 13 and i get autographs of the characters. they are for me. go for it!!

Never too old. I was 49 on my last trip to the World and my goal that trip was to get as many autographs and pictures with the character as possible. It was such fun. I really didn't mind standing in line with those little kids. Guess I am just a kid at heart. ::yes::

You are never too old for the characters, I say get as many autographs as you can! I still get autographs every time I go and I am 24! ::yes:: Go for it and have fun!

My 18 yr old thought she was too old for autographs last Oct., but when she saw her little sister playing with Chip and Dale she made me go buy her a new book. LOL

I say you are never too old and I still love having my pic taken with them. It's fun to look back over the years and see the changes in myself and my kids with the characters.

So buy him a book and let him enjoy his trip and come home with some more great memories!!

I stopped getting autographs when I was 15. I still got them when I was 13. However, I still have pictures taken with the characters and stuff like that. But a lot of my friends do still get autographs. I just interact with the characters without the autograph books. There is no age limit to this; I just personally don't like collecting autographs anymore. It's totally based on what the person likes. If he really enjoys it, go for it! They will never turn away anyone. Heck, my grammy got an autograph once and she's in her 70's.

If you don't want to do the autograph book, how about a shirt or baseball cap?

My son will be 13 on our next trip. I'm thinking of doing one or both of these ideas to make the trip different from the last two.

Ih he enjoys getting autographs, let him. There isn't any age limits on having fun.:D

My niece was 14 and still getting autographs. She will be 17 when we go and she is planning on getting a new one! You're never too old!

I bought my 84 yr old Mother an autograph book and she loved it.

No way! This past trip, DH and I (both 25) stood in line and waited to get pics and autographs with Ariel, Peter Pan & Wendy, Hook, Lilo & Stitch, Perla, Rafiki and Princess Aurora. We already had quite a few prior to this past trip and with the latest ones we have added, we hardly have any blank pages left in our autograph book. Have a great trip!

Another idea for autographs is Lithographs, each trip I buy 2-3 and have the pictured characters sign them and then proudly display them in my home office, I'm up to 23. My first one was Buzz and Woody, my latest is Ariel (DS really wants this one for his room as it is his favorite movie.

Also, Last year we had about 25 characters sign my sons jacket that happened to be alittle snug and then had it mounted in a box frame and it hangs in our entry hallway, just so people entering our home for the first time know right from the get go that we are Disney "NUTS" In case they did not notice my vanity plate MGK KGDM on my truck.

Happy Autographing....
