I'm totally obcessed with DW and we are going again in September (my 14th time going!!) and I feel like I'm not going to do everything the way I want. There's so many places I want to eat at, and there's so many things I want to see. I'm trying to plan the days that all the parks have EMH and MNSSHP and I love EPCOT and I want to do Illuminations in the park, on a Illuminations cruise, also when we eat! TOO MANY OPTIONS and I want to do them all!!! I want to do MNSSHP, I want to do MK's EMH and also Fantasmic, not enough days! I also want to go from the MK to EPCOT on the monorail, I want to spend days in Down town disney, I want to check out the resorts, I want to walk around the 3 hotels on the monorail loop. ARGH! Anyone else feel stressed out trying to get it all in!? It's not like I'm not going back, but I always feel that any trip may be my last because who knows what could happen in the future. I'm absolutely CRAZY! :lmao:

:cool1: totally sympathize. i talked DH into a trip since we haven't been alone together and he's only been one other time period. we were originally going for 4 nights, but i talked him (and myself) into 5 nights, 6 days instead. i still don't feel like it is enough time to do all i want to do! i'd love to do BB, but i just fear I won't have enough park time if I try and squeeze in a waterpark. we are going in a month (aug 18) and are on free dining, so i have a sit down meal booked each day (Chefs France, le Cellier, Sci Fi, LTT, Crystal palace, ohana, but i wish we had more time for sit down meals to add more! i figure it will be a good break in the heat. WE plan on doing the 3 EMHs at night when we are there (Epcot, MK, MGM), and we will just work our way around crowds if we have to. more time in the parks! :rotfl:

but i know the feeling, so much to do, so little time to see it all. just means you need to plan another trip after this one, right? :confused3 :) :thumbsup2

This is exactly why I ended up buying into DVC. Now I go twice a year. :)

But I do have to say, there is simply no way you're going to do it all on a single trip. You're just going to make yourself nuts if you try to, and end up disappointed and stressed out. Or focusing on all the things you don't have time to do, instead of fully enjoying what you are doing.

This fall I'll be taking my 16th WDW trip. I still haven't ridden all the rides, haven't eaten at all the restaurants or stayed at all the resorts. I don't care, I'll get to them all eventually. I enjoy every minute of every trip, and the fact that I haven't seen everything just gives me a reason to keep going back!

I know exactly what you mean!! Im going in September and this will be my 5th trip and there are rides I havent been on yet.. Worst of all, I've never tried a Dole Whip!! This is a must do when I go in September..

I totally wanted to buy into DVC, BUt there's only one problem I don't like with it. It's about $500/year in fees. $500X49 years = $24,500! Plus what you paid for it :(
Believe me, I would love to own a piece of Disney, but we just can't afford it right now :( I live in Staten Island where everything is three times the price of anywhere else!

What did you do while working at MGM? That's soo cool! My goal is to retire in Florida and work in the WORLD!

Our family feels the same way!!! We just went in June and there were so many other things that I wanted to do, but 6 days there is not enough time to see and do it all!!! We did get to all the parks, but I think with the huge crowds it seems like we didn't get as much done as last time(when we went in January). But, I am planning another trip for October 2007, so we will try to get some different things in this time! I guess I feel like we spend so much money to go there that we have to try to get in as much as we can. But, on the other hand, if you do it all the first time, there won't be anything new when you go back! Gives us something to look forward to next time!!! :sunny:

I totally get it. Every time we go, I get into commando mode, and don't stop and enjoy just being there. I am going in August and I will try to make myself slow down and enjoy the whole atmosphere. Last year we spent the day (I mean 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. - stayed for Fantasmic, no breaks) at MGM. We were all miserable by the end of the day. We never did nor will do that again.

I was on the college program 10 years ago.......ahhhh so magical. I worked at Hollywood and Vine- it was a cafeteria serving breakfast and lunch only back then. I bussed tables, played cashier, served food like a cafeteria lady basically. it was not an easy job and min wage! But i still loved the whole CP experience. It was magical walking into the empty park every morning! It's my dream to get back there one day too....maybe I'll be an old lady taking tickets or something! :wizard:

I will have to talk DH into DVC one day......just getting him to go was a big step! :rotfl:

I was there for almost 5 months on the CP and I still didn't see everything!

that is my plan too...notice i say 'plan'....it's hard to stop doing the commando thing. but it's just DH and I, so i want to stop and smell the roses.

i think i ran my great aunt ragged on our Dec trip. She actually asked to just stay in the room and rest a few times cuz we wore her out with our crazy commando schedule. there is a lot to be said to taking it easy and enjoying some of the slower pace stuff once in a while. i'll be attempting to let my virgo, command, perfection ways go for once. :rotfl: :confused3 :rotfl2:

I have an itenerary, but i haven't laminated it, hey, it's a step! :rotfl2:

Totally agree. And in my case, by DH wants days built into the trip to relax and not do anything. But there is so much to do, how can I squeeze it all in?
