Has anyone gotten to the point that you have so many must do's that you cant fit any new places in?? We have gone 3 times the last 3 years and each time we add a few more must dos. Problem is I have places I wanna try still but I cant fit it in. Does anyone else have this problem?

I battle with this issue daily!!! Why do there have to be so many good places to eat?!?!

When we go each person is allowed 1 favorite, the rest have to be new. Same thing with Counter Service but we have hit most of those. I keep a running list of places we have not done yet and we pick from there.

We have the same issue!! We have had to cut out some of favorites to try new ones!

Good thing that we go every year!!

Yes, this is us in a nutshell! We have so many favorites that it is hard to find the room for new places. I like to try new places so it is hard to do but I will forgo some of the goodies to try the newbies...who knows, maybe the newbies will become a new favorite!

I was going to post something similair earlier today :rotfl2:
I always say that we are going to try something new, and then we revert back to our favorites..DH just shakes his head and laughs now.

This trip, we are trying a few newbies.
We are trying Le Cellier (lunch)
Il Mulino
Shula's
T-Rex

Tried & true that we are going back to are Citricos (our FAVORITE), Flying fish (chefs wine pairing dinner, so new to us) and San Angel (Lunch).
We also had 'Ohana up until yesterday. I accidentally deleted the ressie online. My loss is somebody elses gain. :sad2: Hopefully, a newcomer snatched it up.
So we are going to Shulas instead.

We have this problem with every trip! We usually stick with mostly favorites but add in a couple of new places which turn into new favorites so the list just keeps growing. Its so hard to plan a good balance of favorites and new stuff!

SO far we have only been twice, but we definitely have found favorites. I try to limit us to one favorite restaurant or possibly 2 per trip, and the rest are new to us, as I have SO many I want to try. We are going back the end of the month, we are doing Kouzzina's for breakfast as a repeat, then Kona for supper (went for breakfast before, and surprise birthday dinner), Tusker House lunch (only breakfast before) and Coral Reef (completely new). We are also planning several counter service meals at places we've never been to before. Last trip we went for 7 days on DxDDP, and we tried a LOT of new ones, only 1 signature all week!. We still haven't managed Le Cellier, Rose & Crown, Raglan Road, San Angel, Teppan Edo, etc. And really, only signature we've had is Jiko last trip, but I figure we will eventually manage to get them all in, sooner or later... We're hoping they extend into October the dates for free dining, at which point we will hopefully be able to book another dxddp trip, even for 5 days, so we can add a few more new ones in, and especially the signatures, since I really want to try all of them, and that makes it SO much easier to handle the amount of food on dxddp!

We've gotten to the point where favs become an every other and we each get 4 must haves! It's getting to feel like the drafts just planning the food!

We def have the same problem we have so many favs that I realized we haven't really tried new ones the past few trips so are next trip we are doing all newbies but a few favs!

Boma-fav
GFC--its not a fav but we had our rehersal dinner here so were going back to get a cake that matches our wedding cake!!
kouzzina-new
Sanaa-new
Hollywood and Vine-new
The Wave-new
Ohana-fav

I also booked just in case we rather eat here instead of hv and the wave
50s prime time
Crystal palace

So I think trying all these new ones will be good and maybe we'll get some new favs!! :flower3:

I really Like this idea!

I've been going to WDW since 1975 and STILL haven't tried everything!! So this year we are ONLY eating at new places. And we still will have a list of untrieds.

Maybe sometime in the far distant future, we'll finally reach our goal, but I hope they'll just keep adding new places!

All the time!!! :lmao: I go crazy making my adr's and then changing them back and forth! Anyway, I always try to fit in at least one or two new places. We go once a year, sometimes twice..so I do what I can on each trip to fit something new in. But, it sure it is hard, when you have lots of favorites!

I bet almost everyone on this board has this problem!!! We do try to balance out favorites with new ones. Generally we let everyone in the group pick one TS, so it's a toss up of which ones we go back to and which ones we try. We like to try new ones based on the recommendations of others, and have found some favorites that way. That's why you just have to keep coming back! We like to try a new resort each trip, too.

While we have our favorites, they sometimes disappoint which opens the opportunity to try the new restaurants next trip.

Its so hard. Was there this past March and had to eat at Teppon Edo and Le Cellier again. I did pretty good with the rest of the meals. We tried: Kouzinna and California Grill which we loved and will do again. Tusker House we also tried for breakfast and it was pretty good. Mama Melroses was good but nothing special. Chrystal Palace breakfast was okay, there dinner is probably better.

This is so true! We have so many places that we enjoy eating it's hard to try different places. This year we are only repeating a couple of old fav's, all the rest are new.
