So, my aunt called today saying wow you are going to disney for 9days, counting travel days. That might be too many. you will see it all and be board. :rotfl2: Really Disney we are talking about here!! We have never been and might not get to go again. I think 9 days are not enough!

So what is your thought. is there ever a point when its to many days???

9 days is not that much when you factor in that there are multiple parks which each take a day or more just to see all the attractions once. Then you add in restaurants, DTD, spas, resorts, the camp ground, parades, fireworks, golf courses, water parks, shopping, and whatever I'm still forgetting. You could go for 3 weeks and not see everything there is to do.

I hear people say stuff like this all the time when I mention going for a week. But usually after I explain to them all the different things we have scheduled to do each day, they get the picture.

I think we went for 14 days our first trip (including arrival / departure days, so 12 full days), and ended up extending the trip by one day to fit in some stuff we really wanted to do, and we still left with a list of stuff to do next trip we didn't have time for.

I've gone back a few times since then, and I still have things on my list that we haven't gotten around to doing yet.

9 days is the length of my usual trips, and like the PP said, you will definitely not be bored! Everyone tours differently and has different "must dos", but I never feel bored, I'm always left wanting to do more as my trip winds down. This past September I stayed for two full weeks because I felt I needed more time.

But it also depends on how you like to tour; are you someone who gets up and does rope drop? Stays active all day? Are you someone who can ride a ride several times daily? It also depends on when you're going! If you'll be at disney during higher crowds, having more days will definitely be a huge advantage as you'll get to focus on several "must do" rides per day so you can get lots of things done with as little stress as possible.

You'll have a great time! I don't even think it's possible to get bored at disney! :)

9 dyas is great! I usually do 10+ and dont want to leave to go home

This year we are doing a 7 night package (our 14th trip there) and I am freaking out that i wont be there long enough lol

I was just watching the new Disney Resorts special the other night, and they said that you could stay in Disney for a year, and STILL not complete everything there is to do. Now I don't know how accurate that is, but suffice it to say there is A LOT to do. You will certainly not be bored in 9 days....

Can you have too many days? Yes and no. I guess it depends. We used to go for around 17-18 days and on check out day I always wished we could have just one more. Last trip we added a day and I didn't want to leave, but felt ready to come home in a way. Granted, I became very ill that trip and I don't know to what extent that may have affected how I felt. This year we have 3 weeks. I'll report back :)

I don't think 9 days is too much. What I have found is that the more days you have to more likely plans are to fall by the wayside and we seem to do a lot of thins multiple times but there are other things we just never get round to doing because we always arrive feeling we have so long. I know that I would probably plan a bit better for a shorter trip.

Be board in 9 days? Maybe. Burned out? My experience, yes.

The first time my wife ever went to WDW we only stayed 5 days, and that included our travel. Got down and was in MK by 3pm, and our last day we didn't hit a park. 4 days of tickets (with hopper). That wasn't nearly enough.

Last time my wife and I went we stayed May 8th-18th, with travel days, 11 days. First day was in HS by 3-4pm. Every day we were at a park by 9:30am. Our last day, we didn't even hit a park, ME picked us up about 10:30am. Both of us were burned out by then. In fact, we could have left by the 7th or 8th day.

That is why for our trip in May 2015 we are looking the 4th-11th (8 days with travel) or 4th-10th (7 days with travel). This depends on what AKV room view we end up going. Hopefully we can hit a sweet spot with 7 or 8 days.

NOOO! especially if you have never been. that is a good amount. We have been several times and there are still new things we do or see each time. Enjoy yourself, I promise you won't be bored! :thumbsup2
