Am I crazy to be using almost all our free TS credits for breakfast??

I have a character breakfast booked for almost everyday we are there.... 11 days!!

We LOVE breakfast in my family and are not adventurous or fancy eaters at all. I don't see us eating at fine or signature places for dinners at all. So I figured to maximize our TS we would do the breakfasts.

Let me know what your thoughts are so far about my ADR's. I am constantly searching and changing my mind of what I want to do. I have a couple of choices on different days cause I can't decide. (Once I do I will be posting in the cancelation thread for sure!!)

10/29 Arrival around noon (park DHS vs MK)
4:05 H&V Fantasmic OR
7:10 Crystal Palace and see MSEP and Wishes

10/30 (park MK)
7:35 Cape may
OR
9:10 CP
then
4:00 LTT
MNSSHP

10/31 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! (park MK)
8:15 CP ....I'm leaning towards canceling this for sure just incase we are at MNSSHP till midnight. I don't want an early ADR and not be able to make it.
5:00 Mickey BBQ and trick or treat in FW
or
7:00 Garden grill and illuminations

11/1 (park DHS)
9:05 H&V
1:45 Mamma Melrose Fantasmic
or day in HS and then
6:30 Mickey BBQ

11/2 (park AK)
10:40 TH
7:30 Rainforest

11/3 (park EP)
9:30 Askerhus
3:10 Via Napoli
then
Pirates and Pals fireworks cruise

11/4 (Park AK then EP..but depends on ADR's)
8:25 Ohana
7:00 Garden Grill

11/5 (park EP and HS)
8:00 Cape May

11/6 (park MK)
8:30 CP
6:05 Tony's

11/7 (park MK)
8:50 or 10:00 CM
6:00 CP
MVMCP :santa:

11/8 (park HS) and departure day
10:30 1900 PF
5:00 Mamma Melrose
Osborne lights!!

Phew! Thats a lot of ADR's!! I want to squeeze in a BOG lunch maybe on the 30th if possible and I would love to take my two DS to T-rex if I can find a place to fit it.

I fell like I am overbooking already! I don't want to have to go from one place to the next but yet I am afraid with it being free dining and Jersey week that we will not be able to get TS if I don't plan ahead.

:confused3Please help me decide what to do!!::confused3

That is definitely a lot of dining reservations! Lol. I'm not sure how much (unbiased) help I can be as I will be there the same time as you... But looking over your schedule, I'm now wishing I was arriving a couple of days later and leaving a couple of days later so I could take advantage of MNSSHP and MVMCP! Good thinking! :-) If you're looking to drop the Mickey's BBQ on Halloween night, I'd love to grab it as we are doing MNSSHP that night!

The one thing I would say about this is that if you are trying to make the most of your TS credits and minimize OOP costs, then consider booking the most expensive places/meals at the same places for a Character lunch or dinner vs a breakfast (which is usually somewhat cheaper), so if you have to pay out of pocket for any meals, it would cost you less. For us, we'd rather grab a light breakfast/snacks first thing to eat in our room (cereal, coffee etc.) and pay OOP for that and get to the parks early, then use the QS credit for lunch, and save our "big meal" for the free TS credit for a pricier Character dinner (definitely not at fine/signature dining, which could cost 2 TS credits anyway!) The only time we're doing the opposite is for CRT, since we're paying OOP for that (vs using 2 TS credits from our DP), so we have a breakfast booked for that (CRT's dinner is REALLY expensive, I think about $15-$20 more per person vs breakfast.) But we're going for the Character dining more for the characters than the food, so if you guys are huge breakfast fans and any potential OOP costs aren't really a factor, then I wouldn't change a thing :thumbsup2

Our very first trip to WDW was planned by our DDIL after she and our DS, who are DVC members invited us to join them for a family holiday. We were on the Deluxe Dining Plan and we did a character meal every day. Chrystal Palace, CRT, 'Ohana's, 1900 Park Fare, Akershus & Chef Mickey's. We had a blast at every one! :thumbsup2
