too late for free dining ADRs?

We are considering coming down (just dh and I) for a 15 year anniversary trip in late August. We have not booked anything yet (can't until we find childcare and airfare) but I'm wondering if I'm too late to get any decent ADRs. One of my selling points to DH is is that we can eat in all the TS restauarants we can usually never afford, but I fear that there'll be nothing left. What do you all think?

That's what I'm wondering too. But at the same time, I'm not too stressed about it since it's not peak season. It'll be interesting to hear from those who did free dining last year.

I booked for Aug 13th thru the 18th about 3 days ago and had no trouble getting what I wanted. I got into Jiko, Boma, Le cellier, Whispering Canyon and Prime Time. I did have to take Le Cellier for lunch instead of dinner but we are a party of 5 and I have found that party of 5's can be difficult to get.

We're going Sept 3-9 and I've had no problem getting any of ours. We booked Chef Mickey's, Whispering Canyon, O'hanas, Coral Reef, LeCellier.

Shouldn't be a problem. Be prepared to possibly be flexible with days and times at the really popular places. othere then that you'll be fine.

I think if you can book within the next couple of weeks, you should be good. You could go ahead and book and then if things don't work out, you could cancel.

I booked this week for Aug. 13-19 and had absolutely no problem in getting any of the times we wanted.

I think a lot of guest don't realize that you can book at 180 days yet.

I booked 8/20-27 the other day without any problems. Got everything we wanted too.

Hello!!

I booked my reservations for free dining the day the promotion came out, but canceled my reservations today and upgraded to a moderate with the free dining..so there are still codes available to get the hotel, atleast there was earlier today. I got all the ADR's I wanted. But remember, you don't need a WDW reservation to book ADR's- If it is a selling point to your DH, call and see if you can get the restaurants you want, and if you can get those tell him you booked them!!

But, make sure you remember to cancel these ADR's if your trip doesn't work out- then they would open up for another family!

I would start calling soon. We are also going at the end of August and we got all the ADRs that we wanted, but we had to be flexible with our times as some of the specific times I wanted were booked.

I was able to get reservations for Hoo-Dee-Doo (9/10), Mama Melrose (FDP-9/11), Sci-Fi Diner and Whispering Canyon (Breakfast - 9/14), Yachtman's (9/16) with no problems what-so-ever.
