Too late for 11/25-11/30?

Morning..long time Disney nut..many visits...but usually we book way in advance and this time, we didn't. At the last minute, DH and I decided to take the last week of November off...and head to Mouseland. We have no kids..late 40's,early 50's.
Is it too late to get a decent room? And...can we expect fairly quiet parks?

We're toying with BoardWalk V...or the Poly..but we want a really nice view. At the BWV we want to see Crescent Lake/Promenade..and at the Poly, Lagoon or MK view..we're willing to pay extra for a great view..but..are we too late?

Also, is there a thread regarding Concierge service? Is it worth it if you don't have kids? We're not big restaurant people..more bar people..so we usually split meals at nice restaurants..and enjoy martinis and wine and dessert so I'm not sure if the extra money is worth it. I think it is with kids.

Normally, I book these trips myself but am considering getting ahold of Small Vacations..any thoughts out there as to the pros or cons of giving up control to others?

I would just call disney dining direct and ask their availabilty. I'm sure there is plenty of rooms left to pick from. At the last minute you may end of paying full price. I would do some searching for some discount codes to see if there is any available. This late in the game, I wouldn't get your hopes up though but its worth checking.

With your eating preferences you may enjoy the concierge service as they have complementary snacks/drinks available.

I just booked the Poly for some of that week on Monday and had no trouble.

I must be nuts..but I'm considering booking the Honeymoon Suite at the Poly. It's really our anniversary but what the heck difference does it make?
Has anyone ever stayed in that Suite and are the views nice? Does that include concierge also? Is it worth the expense?

FrankiesMom..thank you so much! I'd forgotten about that site..man, he's the Polyman..that's for sure. Forget the Honeymoon Suite...the site clearly sez it's the smallest room and has a view of the marina but not the castle..further reading indicates that I'd pay the same price for a Concierge Lagoon view..but will have a chance at a view of the castle..which isn't possible with the Honeymoom Suite. I'd consider the Honeymoon Suite at the GF..but I believe I read somewhere that there is no balcony...and that's a NO NO!

We have stayed LVC 2 times! I really love staying that way-and that's why we haven't been back-yet! LOL You can watch wishes from your balcony with your honey while you sip after dinner drinks from the lounge! And the next morning be able to run to the lounge for coffee and juice whilke getting ready;then head to the lounge for breakfast before starting your day! Our last stay LVC was for our anniv. and we received the bride/groom ears and a chocolate polynesian post card and buttons! It was a nice surprise! Check that out-I'm sure you'll be pleased! That in my opinion is the only way to stay at the POLY-and last but not least-watching the castle change colors all nite!
