Taking little pieces from multiple threads, I have decided to get my brother (and his girlfriend?) a snowman making kit, some hot chocolate, cookies, etc. I'm excited but now wondering if it is too girly. It is supposed to be for my brother more than his girlfriend. The other option was a movieless movie basket.

There are snow fort building kits. I'd get one of those instead of the snowman kit. I was looking at them for my brother (40ish guy) recently.

Is he a big fan of Snowman making? It sounds like a great gift for a family with small children but I am not really sure about a single adult with a girlfriend.

If they like snowmen that's a great idea. Maybe add some s'more making supplies.

My sister just gave my youngest a snowdog kit because she loves dogs. Super cute!

JMO but yes it seems to girlie for me. Something like that would just be packed away in my closet. Cute idea for something they can do together but I'd probably go for something more he could use.

I don't think it's as "girly" as it is "young". I think it would be fine for a boy, but not someone who is old enough to have a girlfriend. I would go for the movie basket with a $20 Target gift card for a movie of his choice.

I think it's a great idea! If they like to play outside in the snow and make snowmen that is. Do they drink wine? Maybe add some wine and cheese for a more adult snack?
