but i dont mind sharing. if the cinderella blue that i mentioned "discreetly" didn't give it away. im on a diet and exercise plan so that i can lose weight, then to get my teeth fixed, all in the hopes of someday getting the opportunity to audition for walt disney world entertainment. i want to be a princess (or, frankly any other face character really), preferably cinderella but i wont be picky.

people think its stupid to want to do it, but it means so much to me. i could write paragraphs on why i want to do it, and not just because id be able to wear a pretty dress everyday and have thousands of people know my name.

How rude of people to think that's stupid. That's what you want to do. You're not telling them they're stupid for wanting to be a teacher or something.

I think that's awesome! I hope you are able to do that.

I'm honestly trying to lose some weight too, and it's really hard.
I have a huge social problem. I have like two friends, and it kills me inside.
I just try to get rid of all my problems, by eating.


But I've looked online for some SAFE exercises, that are nowhere near dangerous. They don't include diets. Just excerising.

But I still try to eat healthy.
Eating three apples a day, will help speed up your metabolism.
Try taking on more fruits, vegetables, and water. Not chips, soda, and crap.

Honestly, I had a FAT stomach. I mean, ewwugh.
I'm only 13, but this works.
If you want to lose a few inches off your wait, you can lose one whole inch off your waist in one week.
Just suck in.
When your bored, and when your on the computer. just suck in for 15-45 seconds.
I don't mean the kind of suck in where you can't breathe. If you know how to suck in, and breathe properly, then it will be extremely easy for you.
I lost two inches off my wait, and I'm still amazed.

Here are some EXTREMELY safe and easy tips for you to lose weight.
My moms trying some, and she just lost ten pounds in two months. And she is a lazy person. So I'm thrilled for her.

Here is another thing. If you take midnight walks, or morning walks, to burn more calories, walking backwards will help you in some way. I honestly don't remember how, sorry, but it helps with your calves or something.
Also, TAKE DEEP BREATHS. If you do, instead of taking short breathes, you can burn 18% more calories.

Also, don't let your mom put you down.
Seriously, just tell her to shut up.
It might be rude, but if she is calling you fat, just tell her to leave you alone.
You can lose weight when you feel it's needed.

thanks guys :] i guess its just a little hard for people to swallow when i respond to the "what would you like to do?" question with "i want to be a princess!" :]

These are good to eat



- fruit


- vegetables


- water

- now when your really wanting a sweet treat like ice cream share it with like 2 friends so your not eating as much as you would.

I don't have a problem with soda [i hate soda, i only drink water]

My problem is eating too MUCH.

As my dad says, I can easily lose the weight if I start exercising and quit eating a million things.

my problem is I am just bored. I am going to start doing it by exercising to music [my passion:lovestruc ]


I ran 2 miles on the elliptical and I actually feel good .. but maybe that is the satisfaction of my monthly going away ..
 
I know this may need to be in the W.I.S.H forum, but I prefer it to be in the teens forum as it helps more ..

Okay, I know that I am fat [I am around 170 at size 14 and I am around 5'4 or 5'5]

But my mom just came in and told me I needed to lose 20 pounds before spring break and if I do, I can choose where we go [Of course I choose DISNEY!]
First she tried threatening by taking away the computer, then I just said I would read then.

I know that she used to be fat in high school and my dad was but just lost 30 pounds by exercising and that my sister is kind of big too but part of that is genetics.

I just .. I'm sensitive. I cry at the smallest things.
I know all the right things to do, all the right things to eat and how to exercise. I am young, too, so that will make losing the weight easier.

I just .. I need help coping with this with other teens.

Your mom shouldn't be pressuring you to lose weight, she should be encouraging you to get healthier. You should talk to her about this, because what she seems to be doing doesn't sound too productive.

I dont think it was cruel.
I think that she has a genuine concern for her child.
And it was optional for her to lose weight.
She didnt say she had to, she said IF you lose 20 pounds you can choose where we go.

Firstly I want to say--Becca that's a great goal!!! Good luck and I truly hope that you make it!!! It's a great dream to have and gives you something to strive for! Having an ultimate goal definitley motivates you and keeps you goign and that's a GREAT goal to have!!!

Anyways, to the OP, it's defnitley harsh for your mom to pressure you like that, she really cares about you obviously, if she wants you to be healthy, it's hard to tell someone you care about something like that without being rude. I'm sure she just wants what's best for you, so maybe you could have a talk with her and ask her to help motivate you and keep you on track with your diet if you really want to lose the weight .
I used to be slightly unhappy with my physique when I was in grade 9, so I started eating healthier and joined the school swim team and I got in great shape!! I went from 150-130 lbs in about 5 months or so.

I'm back up to around 145lbs now (4 years later) but I'm happy with my body because I have a very womanly physique now--I love my curvy shape! I still stay in shape by going to the gym every so often, and WiiFit helped me out alot in the summer! It's a great motivational tool and even though you're not getting a full workout (like I was in swim practice) It defnitley helped tone me a little bit. (I've got some sweet abs going on under a bit of jelly hehe)

Just know that it take TIME, don't get impatient and do anything rash, and don't get discouraged if you don't start to lose weight right away, it took me 5 months to lose 20 lbs when I was 15, and it took me about 2 months to lose 5 lbs this past summer, I guess it just depends on your body.

I hope that you can reach your ultimate goal, but what I really hope is that you can be happy with yourself and learn to love your body...I surely don't look like a supermodel but I LOVE my curves now and I've accepted that this is the way I'm supposed to be. So I just hope that everything works out for you and that you can be happy with the way you look and the way you feel! :hug:

what size do the face characters have to be? i know most of them are pretty thin, but i've seen a few 12-16 size girls doing snow white and aurora.

Just to let you know do not eat oranges before doing any athletic. Highlight at own risk I did that today before basketball try-outs and it made me barf and it burned

First off go at your own pace if you go to fast it wont help you that much you want to be able to control your body and see because reps and amt of time is way more important than speed work yourself up to the speed it takes time to loose weight it doesnt come overnight.

and shelby, im not sure how thin you have to be, but i know im deffinitley not thin enough. ^^;; but i know what you mean by the "bigger" girls as the princesses, especially aurora and snow white.

but i know that it does sound silly and i can get that, but i just feel like its something that i can do. lol the way i talk about it sounds like an interview for extreme make over - fairy tale edition XD

princess who are snow white and aurora must be pale.
They are required in contract to stay out of the sun [ i think those are the 2 princesses..]
