We are having a college graduation party for DD on May 28th, which is Memorial Day weekend. Is it too early to send out invites now? I wanted to send them a little *early* since people make plans for the holiday weekend, but I don't want to seem ridiculous either. Opinions?

Not at all, since it is a holiday weekend. I would send them

I think you're good. Usually it's about a month's notice on an invite (if it's not wedding...) This is more like 5-6 weeks than 4, but it IS a holiday weekend...I'd send them.

Coming from someone whose birthday (and whose son's birthday) are right before MD weekend - send away! The earlier you let people know about plans that weekend, the better!

As I'm stuffing the envelopes (just getting them ready), I noticed the RSVP date was 5/19, which I totally forgot about. So, yeah, I think I'm good to send soon.

Send them! I've been bugging my family/friends with Seniors to know when their parties are! Calendars fill up!
