Too big for rides?

This might seem like an odd question, but I am traveling soon to Disneyland and my best friend will be with me. She is worried that she will be too large to fit on some of the Disney rides. She heard somewhere that people who are too large are asked to leave the line and she is worried about being embarrassed.

She is a heavy-set lady, but I have told her that I don't think any of the rides will be a problem. Am I right or wrong on this? Does anyone know or know where I can find the information?

There is a previous post a little further down in this topic with some of the answers she is looking for...and feel free to PM me is you have more personal items she would like to discuss! Although much smaller now, I was once in her shoes a few years ago and would love to help out! I had a ton of questions too when I was planning.

Do you know the name of the previous thread or how to find it?
Also, thank you for replying. :)

I do not know how to link to other threads but found it buried about 4 or 5 pages deep, so I bumped it up for you!

Glad to help out. PM me if there are any more questions she has and tell her that Mickey loves all his friends....big and small!

Okay, let me think... it's been a few months since I've been to Disneyland... there are two attractions at Califormia Adventure with weight limits (due to centrifugal force-type reasons) - the Orange Stinger and another one in that area, so I didn't even try those; I also skipped that humungous roller coaster, solely out of fear. I rode every other attraction in DCA at least once, with no 'fit' problems. In DL, I skipped Splash Mountain, Astro Orbitors, Dumbo and Roger Rabbit because I either couldn't climb into them or didn't think I'd be able to get out at the end - broken bone issue, nothing again to do with size. I experienced all other attractions at that park too, with no 'fit' issues. Oh, and did I mention I'm very fluffy? :)
I'm never confident when it comes to rides with "test" seats; while I had no issues at Disney, I was concerned about not being able to fit on The Mummy at Universal - I can never see the red and green markings the sign mentions. So when I got to the loading area, I told the person there that I didn't know if I'd fit in the harness AND that I wouldn't be embarassed - since my size is visually apparent to anybody :) Anyway, I fit with NO problem. In the regular (as opposed to "fat") seat.

It was brought to my attention that USH may be more of a problem with large people fitting on the rides than Disneyland...does anyone have experience with the rides at USH being a size problem?
