There is a stamping and scrapbooking website that I frequent. Someone posted about the craft store Hobby Lobby and people mentioned one thing they liked about it was that it wasn't open on Sunday's. Well someone posted that they refused to shop there or any place else that wasn't open on Sunday. Someone responded (very nicely I might add) that they were surprised and never heard of anyone who wouldn't shop there because they were closed on Sunday. Well the person responded"

"I'm not Kept. I'm unmarried, not interested in marrying, and am childfree. I work for my living, to keep a roof over my head and food on my (and my elderly mother's) table. I don't have all day during the week to do my shopping, like so many SAHMs here. And that's why I won't do business with places closed on one of my only days off."

My first thought was too bad this wasn't posted on the DIS, it could have been a really good thread and the responses could have provided hours of entertainment.

It's a good thing this person doesn't live in Bergen County, NJ, where almost ALL the stores, (except gas stations and a few others,) are closed on Sundays. They still observe the Blue laws.

Yes, it is a zoo to find parking on Saturdays. Some of those un-kept women have probably done time for murder for killing to get a parking spot.

HeHe...I was so trying to behave and not respond, but I responded with just an FYI don't ever move to Bergen County, NJ since they still have clue laws there.

I have never really visited 2peas, maybe I need to start going there. There is very little drama on SCS, unless you go to the Current Events board.
