Our next trip will include some older, less mobile relatives so I'm trying to schedule more of our ADRs nearer to our resort, BLT. We've never done Tony's. Does anyone have any experience eating there with allergies? I haven't seen much mentioned. My kids like spaghetti and meatballs, but truthfully they eat very little of the pasta and love the meatballs. DS would probably be pretty bummed if he couldn't have meatballs. Do they keep allergy-friendly meatballs on hand? Specifically, DS is milk, egg, peanut, tree nut allergic. Any chance of safe breads there? Bread isn't a deal-breaker though.

THANKS!

We had a good allergy experience at Tony's. The chef (sorry, forgot his name), was very knowledgeable about allergies. My kids have peanut, tree nut and shellfish allergies. They were not able to have any of the breads. My daughter had spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were a special allergy recipe the chef had created that had no milk or eggs. She couldn't have the regular meatballs, because he said he was concerned that the bread used to make them had a nut cross-contamination warning. She mostly ate the pasta, because she didn't like the texture of the allergy meatballs. They were a bit tough, and she's used to softer ones. For dessert, they were able to get safe ice cream. Most other places only offered fruit cups, so it was a nice change of pace. Tony's wasn't our favorite restaurant, food-wise, but the chef was one of the best we've dealt with as far as allergies. A table next to us had two adults with allergies. The chef spent a lot of time with them, asking what they liked and he came up with some off-menu entrees to suit their requirements and preferences. They appeared very pleased with their food.

We too had a great experience at Tony's with food allergies. I am deathly allergic to Pine Nuts and tree nuts.. When we arrived, the chef told us he related because his wife has the same allergy and he is used to cooking for her. I had the eggplant parm and it was AWESOME. Unfortunately, I found out since then that I am allergic to wheat as well, so I will really test their ability to accommodate lol. I have heard good things about all allergies being accommodated at Tony's. Have no fear :)

We had a great experience at Tony's. The chef is very accommodating. We did have ADR and noted what my son was allergic to on it.

Tony's does have the Wheat Free Pasta and rolls. My Mom has celiac and Tony's was great with her allergy.

My son has Peanut/tree nut allergy and only ate Macaroni with butter and they were very helpful, that was years ago when he was a toddler. He is 9 now and thought of giving them a try again, I find there food OK, not great.
