If those are your choices, I'd save the Table Service and have a Quick Service within the park. The hot dogs from Casey's on their worst day are more appetizing than anything Tony's is churning out.
Normally I say that food reviews are subjective. My belief is that everything is palatable in Disney, it just depends on the diner's taste. For example, a NYer may not love Via Napoli as much as someone from the south; a New Englander may not like the lobster rolls as much as someone from NY; and a southerner may scoff at Disney's grits, whereas I may LOVE them.
But... Tony's is just an insult to food. It's a widely known thing and an absolute sin, because they used to have a great breakfast back in the day!
If you're open to a QS, I recommend the following:
- BOG lunch
- Pecos Bill's
If you're able to leave the park and open to a TS at the resorts, I'd recommend the following:
- Kona at Poly
- Chef Mickey's at Contemp (it's not that good, but better than Tony's or Diamond)
- Grand Floridian Cafe
Also, if you are open to QS, we love Contempo Cafe. I think it's one of the more underrated QS and they have dynamite cupcakes.
