Opinions on the place? We had to change from Via Napoli to there (Rest of the vacationers didn't find Via Napoli appealing).

I've heard mixed reviews so I'd like to hear what you all think. :yay:

We thought it was good.. That being said dont get the shrimp scampi that was kinda bland but everything else is great plus I love all the Lady and the Tramp decor and that its in the MK!

We ate there for dinner last July. The waiter and food were good. But we had reservations and we had to wait quite awhile before being seated. But we walked outside after the meal and found great spots to watch the parade. We are not going to Tony's this July just because we want to try other restaurants.

We enjoyed Tony's. So much so that DH requested lunch and dinner there this trip. We're also trying Via Napoli but I didn't think Tutto was all that.

One of the worst meals we have ever had in the World. :sad2:
Food was terrible (shrimp scampi drowning in oil, meatballs and red sauce were terrible..) and the service was just as bad.
We were there a few weeks ago and had the BEST meal at Via Napoli..the food (pizza, pasta, red sauce, salads etc..) is a million times better than what is offered at Tony's.

We had an anniversary lunch there in Feb 2011 and loved it.

The decor is so sweet, of course both of us are Lady and the Tramp fans.

The food was good. DH had the spaghetti and sausage, I had the chicken parm. It was very filling and we enjoyed it.

It wasn't so much the food at Via Napoli that turned off my mum and sister. More of less, they didn't like the idea of sitting at the one long table with others so close. They do like their space.

When we went all six of us, four adults and two children, had a decent meal. My pasta was overcooked but the chicken parm was HUGE and not overdone but rather tasty. I really only ate two bites of the pasta but the parm was so big I did not miss it a bit. Next time I go I will definitely order the pasta al dente if possible. :)

We love it. Its a must do (even if we pay) each trip. We tried it in Nov 09 for the first time and my picky kids loved it. DH has asked to go back there in 2012 when we go back, and we ate there back in Jan of this year.

There is a lot of seating available at Via Napoli beside the communal table! So you might reconsider, and ask for a regular table upon checkin.

eh... I didn't really care for it, the food was ok nothing special. The service was rushed since they were very busy.

We really like Tony's-the food is pretty good. And I love their pistacio creme brulee and the Lady and Tramp decor.

We went to Via Napoli last summer with 7 of us. We sat at a big round table. The pizza and zeppole were great!! Kind of slow service but it was around when they 1st opened.

Both are good choices-whichever way you decide :thumbsup2

We liked both. They're very different. At Tony's one of us had steak and the other lasagna. I don't remember what dd ordered, but she usually shares with us and ignores most of the kids meal. We went outside and the Main St. Electrical Parade was just starting. Had a great view.

At Via Napoli, we were with a few other people, and everyone enjoyed their meals. One had pizza, one had spaghetti, one eggplant parm and one some kind of seafood. Kids meal was pizza for dd. We had our own table and didn't sit with strangers.

We arrived at Lunch b4 they opened it up and were the only people there then. The Dapper Dans came in and sang Bella Notte to open it up and since we were the only ones there it was like they were singing it just for us...LOL

Yes, this. It also appears they try to space people out at the communal table so if you're there during a slower time, people may just be at either end. But regardless, you could just ask for a regular one.

We had a late lunch at Tony's and found the food average. I had their spaghetti and meatballs, their so called signature dish and found it just average. DW had another dish and thought it was just OK. We would not go there again

I didn't think the food was outstanding, however the service was terrific. But the real bonus was having a window seat in the glassed in porch and we had a perfect street-side view of the nighttime parade. Just as we finished, Wishes was starting- we watched from in front of the train station and made a mad dash for the busses, managing to get the first one out for the night before the crowds from Wishes hit. It couldn't have been executed any better than that.

Loved the chicken parm - delicious! I usually get the spaghetti and meatballs, but tried the chicken on our trip a couple of weeks ago.

My DH had the pork loin and enjoyed it - he usually orders the NY Strip and has always liked it as well.

We tried it for the first time last July and really liked it. I was of course hesitant w/ all the poor reviews I've seen here, but we gave it a shot. My girls LOVED that they could get something "different" on the kids' menu than most other sit down restaurants (ie. spaghetti & meatballs) as opposed to the standard hot dog/mac & cheese, etc.... The food was good-I had the scampi and thought it was fine. DH had spaghetti & meatballs and liked it as well. The only negative thing was that our waiter never smiled :confused3:confused3 & didn't seem very pleasant.

Oh, that's so cute!!! We may have to show up at opening just to see it.
