Anyone been recently? How's the food there? It looks like such a pretty restaurant yet we've never eaten there. I'm considering for when we return to Disney and was curious if it's worth going. Thanks!:goodvibes

It has improved a lot over the last two years.

Most of my Italian Family members enjoy it now.
Can they get better locally, sure, but for Disney it is good.

If you like the theme than I think you'll enjoy it.

We went there last Feb and are going again this Feb. We all loved it and it's my DD's (8) number 1 pick for this year. The bread and salad were great and so was the spaghetti. Also the atmosphere is very relaxing, but not stuffy at all. Great time!

Our family certainly enjoyed it. While dining there seen a young couple get engaged....neat the entire place started clapping. The place is pretty..but also a casual feel to it. Its for sure on our must eat place again.

The last time I went there was years ago. It was good of what I can remember. We haven't been in years though and I think we're going to try there again in 2010.

Tony's Town Square is our traditional first and last meal of the trip :lovestruc We love it for the food and the atmosphere. My daughter loves the chicken parm and the spaghetti and meatballs. I have had some great steaks there too :woohoo: For us, Tony's is one of our "must do's" every time we go :yay:

We have been 4 times in the last year and have always enjoyed it, they have the best calamari in all of WDW

If you search you will find it is very hit and miss. Many have enjoyed it and just as many seemed to have had bad service and food. You can count us in the bad group. Not will chance it again.

We received the best service of our trip last month at Tony's.
Food was good and portions were ample.

Tony's was a pleasant surprise for me last month! Decided to see if I could do a solo walk-up lunch on my departure day as my cousin had already left and this was (besides CRT) one of the only MK TS places I had not tried. I had read many bad reviews and wanted to form my own opinion. Everything I had was very good and the service was excellent! I would not hesitate to eat there again and I look forward to bringing my whole family to try it!!:thumbsup2

Count us in for being nervous to try it! Keep hearing horrible reviews. Anyone have pics from the dinners?

I'm so glad you asked this question. I've heard all the negative reviews, but am still determined to give it a go! I love the Lady and the Tramp movie, and would live to dine anywhere with this theme.

we're giving it a try on our next trip.. and we only havent done Tony's yet b/c of the reviews but like you say, it's cute and have a nice theme.. the menu looks good too. We need a place to eat lunch at MK, on the deluxe dining plan, since we are going to Chef Mickey's for dinner. I hope it is good!
I wish Liberty Tree would bring back the characters i never ate there either and wont b/c it doesnt sound like fun w/o them. hope you like it! hoping we do too!

I'm excited to read all these positives responses about Tony's. We are trying it for the first time next month. I can't wait to see the Lady and the Tramp theming.

We went in October right before MNSSHP. It was our first time. Loved our server, and overall had a good time. DH got the shrimp scampi and thought it was great. I had the vegetarian lasagna and it had lots of good flavors, but the pasta was mushy. Way overcooked. We would definitely go again and I would probably just get spaghetti marinara if there were no other veggie choices. I think it's worth trying.

I hate to be the one downer here...:sad2: But we tried Tony's for the first time this past June and it was a total MISS with us.
The food was really not good. I had the shrimp scampi and it was swimming in oil, with no flavor. DH had the spaghetti and meatballs and the red sauce was terrible...the meatballs had a really icky texture. The kids had pasta with sauce on the side...it was ok. The kids salad was shredded lettuce drowning in terrible italian dressing. We won't be going back.

We were there the week before last. I have had mixed meals here over the years, I liked what I got this time, but service was very very lacking. We actually encountered rudeness and rolling of eyes when our food was dropped off and we asked for more milk for our 2 kids!!!

We were just there and really enjoyed it. We had a fantastic waiter, the food was great, and we loved the restaurant itself. We'll definitely go back there!

We've only eaten there once, and it was about four years ago, but I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was ok/good and I would totally go again!

We ate there a year and a half ago and I thought it was absolutely horrible --- it made the Olive Garden seem like a 5 star restaurant. I am truly suprised at all of the good reviews here. We said we would never return.
