We are going over Spring Break and ADR's are difficult at best. I have a party of 5 with three kids, one is 7 with very special needs (brain tumor etc) so we have little flexibility in times to eat and I have booked what I could so far, we are on the DDP

Here's what I have then a question about TTS.. Also, everyting Except Akershus and Cape May are Dinners (we are not big lunch eaters and prefer later dinners) and our latest seating is 7:40 at Crystal Palace.

1) Coral Reef
2) Kona Cafe'
3) Chef's De France (for my dh)
4) Mama Melrose
5) Akershus Breakfast, Crystal Palace Dinner
6) Cape May Breakfast, Tony's
7) Spoodles

Mama Melrose and TTS both get a LOT of poor reviews, both were picked by default though. Mama Melrose because we plan on being at the Studios that day and it is easier to just stay and Tony's because we also wanted something in MK or near and (Ohana, Park Faire, CM etc.. are all booked though we will continue to try so this is a place holder).

My question is will we be totally dissapointed? Looking for a few reviews.

We could go to Wispering Canyon, BUT for as fun as that sounds my youngest child will probably freak out at the Antics as I understand it is very jarring and loud.

Any other suggestions for dining plan resteraunts to replace those two. I am less afraid of Mama Melrose becuase that we would probably pay out of pocket and the prices seem fair.

Thanks in adavnce!

I have to agree, TTS definitely gets a lot of bad reviews. We went last March for lunch and enjoyed it. My mom really liked it and the rest of us thought it was ok. I liked the atmosphere. I'd go back again. Check out the menu and see if there is something that everyone would like. I think you should try it for yourself.

Another suggestion would be Grand Floridian Cafe (GFC). I've never eaten there, but I see a lot of great reviews for it. You might have luck getting an ADR there.

Good luck.

Tonys is hit or miss on food being good. We have been a few times and food was sub-par. But on 2 occasions it was outstanding.

Have you thought of Liberty Tree Tavern?

We had lunch at TTS on Christmas day and it was good...not the best Italian meal I have ever had, but it was not at all bad (think they could cook with a little more spice & salt). The service was very good too.

LTT has "comfort foods." The meats were tasty and tender, but the sides were not a hit with my family (mac 'n cheese, greenbeans, *potatoes were good*).
