We ate at Tony's a little over a year ago. I liked it and enjoyed the meal. My family did not. They thought that the food was so-so. We all enjoyed dessert. I have to be honest, I don't remember what we had to eat, so I know this is not as helpful as I would like it to be.

If you have an ADR I would suggest trying it out for yourself. Getting a dinner in the MK on that date is worth taking a chance in my opinion

We'll be trying Tony's for the first time in September. We wanted a sit down in the Magic Kingdom, wasn't impressed with Liberty Tavern menu and did not want a buffet or sandwiches, so Tony's it was.
I have read on some reviews that Tony's was awful - and was compared to Olive Garden in food quality. Well, I enjoy the food at Olive Garden. I am not Itallian, nor do I come from New York or elsewhere that has "good" Itallian food. So something on the order of Olive Garden will suit me just fine.
I honestly believe you need to try a restaurant and make your own decision.
I'm going with an open mind.

We're eating there next month for the first time. DH and DS have always wanted to try it. I'm not going in with high expectations, so I'm sure we'll be fine. Lady & the Tramp has always been a big favorite at our house.

Does anyone know if they are still serving the LEMON WALNUT CAKE? I love cake - I love lemon - this will make me happy!

I would get there a bit early and also maybe request an outdoor table so that you can see from there and not be rushing to get through dinner to make the parade. Have fun!

I'm so confused. I had a 6:55 pm ADR on a night Spectro is at 8:00. I was told that was too early for watching Spectro from Tony's. (I realize the OP apparently wants to be finished with dinner, before Spectro.) Anyway, I called back & booked 7:25 instead. Based on the quote above, I'm now wondering if I had a better time to begin with.

We'll be trying LTT the night of MNSSHP but we'll be eating at Tony's another night.

We're doing the same.

Tony's isn't as terrible as its reputation would lead one to believe, it just isn't any good.

I didn't realize that they have the Lady & the Tramp decor. I can't wait to see it! I too like Olive Garden food so Tonys will be right up my alley

We're doing the same.

I think you'll be okay. The aveage sit down meal at WDW takes about an hour (if there are no characters). But the thing is that most every meal, you have to wait a bit before you are seated. So for a6:55 p.m. ADR, you may not have been seated right away.

The big issue is whether you will be seated outside with the view of Spectro. Lots of people go to Tony's with that very thing in mind. So I would arrive early, tell them you want to be able to see Spectro and that you are willing to wait for such a table to come open.

That's what we plan to do. If we can't get an outdoor table, we'll leave my DH & DS holding the table while our DS's GF & I run out to watch the parade. They can pick at their food & sip their tea slowly, while we're gone.

We ate there last week. I had chicken parmesan, and I liked it. Others in our group thought the food was just okay. I wasn't fond of my dessert. I got the signature cheesecake. It was pretty, but just not that tasty.

The decor and atmosphere was great, and service was very good.

We were happy with the meal, but just didn't really wow us.
