Give me your reviews please. We'll be eating dinner there October 28 then we'll be partying til midnight at MNSSHP :thumbsup2

we've been once and got to watch the parade from our table :thumbsup2 -- i'm italian so a wee bit difficult to please-- BUT decent food/ great service/ good desserts--this year before MNSSHP we're going to KONA

I ate the 2005 the night of MNSSHP. the food was good, service was just as good. I anjoyed it and would go back again :)

We're eating there in December. We've got a 5:20 ressie and Spectro is at 7:00 PM. Will we make it? I understand Tony's is on the Spectro parade route, so theoretically we'll be able to step outside and claim a spot.

PS. Sorry to hijack your thread! :-) I was wondering on what others' reviews were as well!

The food is pretty good..but what I love was the Lady and the tramp decor:love:

I wouldn't say it was the BEST meal we have ever had at Disney. That said, we've gone during our last two trips, June of '07 and '08. The food is good and the service has always been up to par. My favorite part is the Tiramisu. I've had several different varieties around The World, but Tony's is my favorite.

We really enjoy Tony's. Is it the most authentic, fabo Italian food I have ever eaten? No. But it is quite good, the atmosphere is wonderful (love the Lady and Tramp theming) and we have very good service all the times we have eaten there. Its in a theme park and feeds hundreds of people a day, so I think all things considered, its a great place to dine.

I enjoy their steak, their chicken parm was very good and the desserts are great. I love the pistachio creme brulee and the tiramisu.

MsMissy: You should be able to make Spectro. Although that end of Main Street fills up very fast with people wanting to see the parade. Tony's does have some outdoor rocking chairs as I recall, and some tables on the patio have great views. I would get there a bit early and also maybe request an outdoor table so that you can see from there and not be rushing to get through dinner to make the parade. Have fun!

I really like the food at Tony's. My DH said that the steak was the best he's had in Disney. For dessert the cannoli is wonderful.

We'll be trying LTT the night of MNSSHP but we'll be eating at Tony's another night.

We are eating there next month and I am pretty excited about it since I have never tried it before....I know alot of the reviews are pretty bad but I dont go by those too much...alot of the good stuff that people love I dont care for so maybe the bad stuff is good to me?! Or am I just easy to please :rotfl:

We (party of 5, no children) ate there last Sept. The food was just so-so. We were on the DDP and it seemed they were trying to rush us. We didn't get choice of dessert - they just brought a sampler platter for us to share. We did get full but won't go back again.

At dinner they now do the dessert of your choice (they have several to choose from). At lunch, they may still do the sampler dessert platter to be shared.

the decor at Tony's is really cute...you'll especially think so if you've recently watched Lady and the Tramp. :thumbsup2 The food is tasty, but is basic Ameri-talian. It's not fancy, but a nice place to sit and enjoy a good meal in the Magic Kingdom. Have fun!

Tony's isn't as terrible as its reputation would lead one to believe, it just isn't any good.

Olive Garden is located near Disney, tastes MUCH better and costs a LOT less.

Yes the atmosphere is nice, but that was about it. Now I'll admit being Italian and living a short drive to little Italy I'm biased, but the food was really bad.:scared: I so wanted to like this place but couldn't. The service was poor (may have been an off night) and the place seemed dirty. I wouldn't go back, but I think everyone should try things for themselves. Good luck and enjoy mnsshp!

We've been to Tony's twice, first trip for dinner and ordered all pasta based dishes that were very good. The second time was for lunch and ordered sandwich style dish (forgot what it was called but sort of like panini?) and it was just ok, not as good as before but not bad either. Service was good both times and we love the beautiful decor. Enjoy!
