Tony's Town Square Restaurant

Many years ago (say 15) we ate there and it was pretty good. Tried Tony's again about 5 years ago and Olive Garden is definitely better. It may have improved as of late but we are going to eat at Tutto's in Epcot on our trip in November.

Just so you know, the new chef and menu were after your last trip there (I believe it switched over in 2016 or later)

I'm not a big fan, I think the Olive Garden description is pretty accurate. It's not great, not terrible. It's just kind of there.

However, I think that the Festival of Fantasy Dining Package is worth it.

@Helvetica - wondering if you could speak more about how you thought the value of the FoF dining package panned out? I currently have an ADR for the parade dining package (around Christmastime, since I figured WDW would be packed) but am debating the supposedly mediocre food (and having to eat three courses of it) vs. prime parade viewing!

The parade viewing is awesome (right down Main Street) and for me it was a really memorable experience. I was in my Mickey Mouse Disneybound and I great view of Mickey and Minnie. Mickey even pointed at me! I loved it.

I had the calamari, steak and cheesecake. For $54, I thought is was a really good value. Maybe not the best calamari or steak at Disney World, but it was acceptable. Their cheesecakes are actually pretty good. For me, it was more about the prime parade viewing experience.

We were just there this month and had the parade package. We thought the food was fine, although we're really not that picky. The service was good and the restaurant was nice. The reserved parade viewing area is in a great location. I would not recommend it in the summer though. There was no shade, so it was very hot. Plus, there were plenty of spots available outside of the reserved area. Now it might be a better value at Christmas when the weather is cooler and the park is packed!
