We ate at Tonys town square last night for the first time and I was unsure about it but I have to say the new York strip steak was delicious as was the ceasuar salad and the ice cream bomb. We sat on the porch and it was so nice and relaxing there

Happy Thanksgiving. Glad you enjoyed your meal. Have a great day.

Glad to hear that! I make my ADRs this Sunday and Tony's is on our list, for the very first time. :thumbsup2

Tony's is one of my ADRs for January! I'm so excited! I love that place, it's a classic. Plus, I love eating right in MK, immersed in all the magic! :wizard:

Thanks for the update! :)

We ate there on 11/17. We both had salads and the Chicken Parm. Delicious.

So glad to hear that, we have ADR there for Monday. This will be our first time eating at Tony's and it was the one place we struggled with choosing. Thanks for posting!

When we were there this past May we ate there twice. The entire family really enjoyed our meals. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and my DH had the whole wheat pasta dish. The boys had pizza. I loved the pistachis creme brulee. We're going again in 2011 and we will def. go to Tony's again.

Thank you for posting!
I have always wanted to try Tony's and haven't for various reasons...mostly timing. I have an ADR in Feb:thumbsup2...can't wait now!
I love Lady and the Tramp so I am hoping it will just be great!

Thanks for the good review as I always hear neg things...it's good to hear the other side

I agree with wildernesslodgefan. Temperature dropped into the 20's today in north Jersey.

We ate at tonys in october and enjoyed it. The braised lamb shank was signature dining worthy.

I'm going there for the first time next week and can't wait. Ive heard mixed reviews so I'm glad to hear so many positive ones. The dessert menu sealed the deal!!!!

which do you think is better, Tonys town square, or Mama melrose??

Ate at Tonys twice a couple weeks ago and everything was outstanding the Tiramisu was the best I have ever eaten so light and tasty shrimp scampi delicious and calamari succulent will be back every chance I get also loved the plaza for lunch Jasmine was the best server I've had the pleasure of having in any Dis Restaurant ever !!

Ah, this is such a relief! We are going in Jan and just made our ADRs for Tony's. We need to impress my parents and need something delish!

anybody eaten at both Tony's and Mama melrose? which do you think had better food, or were they both about the same??

I tried Tony's last week and found it to be absolutely horrible. The shrimp scampi was the worst I've ever had in my life. The sundried tomatoes were poor quality and almost seemed rotten. I love sundried tomatoes and these must have been the cheapest Disney could buy. The asparagus did not taste like it was grilled, but instead had a fake smoked taste to it. The red sauce used on the lasagna tasted like cheap jar sauce. I would equate the restaurant quality to be equal to a school cafeteria. I spoke to the chef about the meal and he did not seemed surprised by what I told him.

I'm guessing this is how someplace like Olive Garden would be - mass produced and low quality. But it was a far cry from being close to good Italian food. Anyone who eats homemade or at real Italian restaurants will be disappointed. I recommend going to a different place to dine.

I agree with you. Our lunch at Tony's was not good, soggy salad, hard-dry-cold garlic bread and our Chicken Parm was awful tasted like last weeks leftovers. Now there Tiramisu was great.
