Tony's Town Square - Parade Viewing?

I read a posting about Tony's Town Square restaurant saying they had a window table during the afternoon parade and were able to view the parade while dining. Can you make a reservation for a parade view table in advance?

No, sorry. There is no way to reserve a specific table. You can make a request at the podium when you arrive, but there's no guarantee that they will be able to accomodate you.

More importantly, if you were able to score a window table, remember there are sidewalks in front of the restaurants, so people will be lined up watching there too, and may obscure your view. You will probably be able to see the "floats" go by, but will not be able to see what's going on in the parade with the "walkers" of the parade.

I have eaten in Tony's and you cannot see the whole parade from inside. Yes the tops of the very tall floats, even sitting on the patio can offer a bit more of a view, but you can't see the whole thing from there.

Best thing to do if you want to see the parade is time your adr for before or after the parade.

We have had dinner there during xmas week 2009 and we were seated in the conservatory room and were able to see the parade from our table(we did not ask for the table, but it was nice-and NO you cannot reserve a table in that room). You have a very good view of the floats, because they are big, but you do miss some of the ground dancers,etc. Be forwarned that if you get a table in the other dining room, you will NOT be able to come into the one with the view..they will not let anyone stand and watch at a window(door).
