Need to make one more reservation for next trip. How about Tony's? Any thoughts?

We ate there this past Thanksgiving. I was a little nervous but we LOVED it! The food was great! The service was great! It will be on my to do list from now on!

We have always enjoyed dinner..we just ate there in May, click on my link to see pics and a full review

Ate there a few years ago and haven't been back. The 4 adults in our party all agreed the food (and service) was horrible...and we are NOT picky people. Maybe we just had an off day there and should give it another shot...I've read some really good reviews about it. Not very helpful, I know...

We eat here every trip and will be going back in a few weeks. We have never had a bad meal here and enjoy it very much

I was at Tony's a few months ago and it was a very gross meal. My son asked never to book there again. Lol.
My chicken parm was quite gross, i cant explain why, but i think it was the sauce. My son's spag/balls were also nasty. I took a bite of the meatball and refused to swallow. It was that gross! I honestly think their tomato sauce killed all the dishes. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Just my personal experience. If you want decent italian, why not try something better like Chef Boyardee?? haha, kidding. (Kinda.) Why not go to Via Napoli or Tutto Italia??

BTW I noticed that people who dined at Tony's and have ordered something from the grill (like steak) or calamari for example, have really enjoyed their meals. So maybe staying away from the tomato sauce is the way to go? :confused3

If your at MK and want a TS in the park, why not try crystal palace? I love it there. Also, Liberty Tree is very good. Or, go next door to ohana or kona. Or take a boat ride from MK to Whispering Canyon.:)

We enjoyed it, but dont get the shrimp scampi, it was ok but the sauce was very think and didnt stick to the shrimp or the noodles well. Restaurant is so cute, service was good, defanitely will go back but for the signatures like spaghetti or chicken parm..

Did this about a year ago and the food was OK but not great. However the service we received was HORRIBLE so I'm not sure if that made my meal seem worse than it actually was. We had spaghetti and were not thrilled at the taste of the sauce - seemed a bit bland. Anyway, we will NOT be doing this restaurant again.

DH and I ate there about a week ago. I had a seafood pasta that was good and he had a fish, which was dry. We would not rush back.

We ate there for lunch in June...had an 11:30 ADR right when the place opened. Service was wonderful but it did not make up for the TERRIBLE food!! I had the mozzarella and tomato salad as an appetizer, my husband had the garlic bread, both good but nothing special. For entrees I had a special, it was basically their shrimp scampi with asparagus and sun dried tomatoes but had lobster instead. The scampi sauce had no flavor and looked like someone just melted a stick of butter over the pasta! My husband had the chicken parm which was soggy and the sauce was disgusting! The tiramisu for dessert was good, but the lemon walnut cake was dry.

Appetizers and dessert couldn't make up for such poor entrees. I agree with the pp, if you're looking for Italian, go to Via Napoli or Tutto Italia...if you're just looking for the location, try somewhere else!

We were there for 1:15 ADR Wed 08/24. We checked in and didn't even have to wait 5 minutes before we were seated in the terrace/sunroom section. It was LOUD in there; even had trouble hearing our waiter Martin sometimes. He, by the way, was super nice and kept the ice teas and cokes coming. No complaints with service.

Both DS and I had the shrimp scampi and although others above had a problem with it, I thought it was really good. Definately had garlic flavor and I just love aspergus and sun dried tomatoes, so this was right down my alley. There was a lot of oil/butter in the dish, though, that settled on the bottom of the bowl. DH had the pepperoni flatbread and it was good, nothing special but solid. DD had the chicken parm, which she enjoyed. I had a bite and didn't think the sauce was so awful as others have proclaimed but we do use jarred sauces, so who am I to judge?

For dessert, DS had the tiramisu and sucked this right down. Even Martin was surprised how quickly he ate it! I had the chef's cheese cake which was pina colada. Sounds rather strange combo but it was good- had chunks of pineapple and was mousse like instead of the NYC style cheesecake. DH had a green apple no sugar sorbet which was really refreshing. I would have ordered this if he hadn't. DD had the ice cream bomb did a good number on it.

This was a pretty heavy lunch and we hadn't eaten breakfast before. It might have been the heat but by dinner time, I really still was not hungry, though, the others in my party were ready for dinnertime.

I had booked this w hesitation given the mixed reviews but this was my daugher's 16th birthday celebration and she really is a Lady and the Tramp fan, so couldn't deny her. After trying, I was glad we did as it was a good experience. Just wonder if the main dining rooms are any quieter? They sure seemed darker.

A BIG no from us. Never again.

Food was awful before I found the hair in my pasta. I was offered a fresh meal but since everyone else was almost done (and I couldn't see myself eating any more of the "stuff") I declined. I then got the "Oh well, thanks for coming."

Maybe next time (for someone else, as I won't be returning) the manager could go to the table and apologize for the gross find, rather than spend ALL his time with the pretty waitresses. That could explain why our waiter seemed curt and angry.

Sorry to dump on Tony's, but my DW is a huge Lady and the Tramp fan and we were excited to eat there last October. We weren't expecting gourmet food, but just wanted a tasty, simple spaghetti and meatballs (I know, I know: cliched!). You would think that if they wanted Tony's to be able to produce one great dish, it would have to be the spaghetti and meatballs.

Maybe they can make good food, but it ain't the pasta! It wasn't a horrible meal, but you can get better pasta sauce out of a jar these days.

Frankly it didn't do much to evoke memories of LATT and the food was very, very forgettable. Standard low-quality pasta and sauce, and we won't ever use a TS credit there again.

We ate there in May of 2010, and none of us had any complaints, DD16 is actually requesting another meal or two there this next trip.

Then again, we *gasp* eat spaghetti sauce out of a jar.

For us it wasn't too bad. Slightly overcooked pasta but I will surely order al dente if we go again.

There are some pictures and our thoughts on the meal here.

Hope this helps a bit. :)

Tony's definitely seems hit or miss. Hopefully it's a hit in October when I try it for the first time!

We ate at Tony's last week and didn't care for it. DH had a steak and I had the seafood fra diavolo. His steak was better than my pasta, which didn't have much seafood in it and the sauce was not spicy at all, which I expect from a fra diavolo. I had the caprese salad and it was just OK, especially compared to the caprese I had at Tutto Italia a couple of days earlier. DH had bruschetta for an appetizer and I thought that was actually pretty good. I don't remember what we had for dessert, so that probably tells you something.

My biggest complaint was the noise in the restaurant. We were seated in the atrium area, and it was deafeningly loud. We were traveling with children and did not expect a quiet meal, but this was ridiculous. We also noted some customers who were unhappy to be seated outside. After all, this was Florida in August. Who wants to sit outside?

Also, we checked in four our reservation about 10 minutes early and then still had to wait 20 minutes for a table. What is the point of reservations if you have to wait 20 minutes?

We used to eat there almost every trip back in the day when my kids were younger. Always enjoyed it. A couple of years ago we tried it again after not going for years. We really did not enjoy our dinner at all and will not return. The staff really rushed us out, something we hate. Maybe we noticed it so much more because we have been going to mostly Epcot restaurants and resorts places. We like to take our time and enjoy our meal, not be hurried out. The meal was not so great either. I remember that the food was better way back. Now it seems like it's nothing special. Just my opinion.

Enjoy The Magic!!
