We are thinking of booking a reservation here. We have never had dinner at this restaurant and were wondering if anyone could give us an opinion. Thanks in advance!

i'd like to know this as well!!! thanks for asking!!! will help us both!!!

I'm going to say that our dinner there was average. The pasta was OK, similar to what you'd get at the Olive Garden. Service was OK, nothing spectacular. Wouldn't rule out going there again, but it's not on our absolute must do list either.

My opinion... :crazy2:

We're not fish or mushroom eaters so knock anything with those in them off the menu and we were left with Spagetti & meatballs & chicken something-or-another. The food was good. Olive Garden is WAY better imho. I could have made better and I'm irish LOL.

MK doesn't have very many decent sit-down locations to start with. Tony's isn't a bad choice if you need a place to get out of the heat, but unless they do something to fix up the menu I won't be back.

We liked Tony's alot. We all enjoyed our food and thought the service was good as well. I would definitely eat there again.

We went on Friday and had a nice time, have a very impatient 2 yr old, they have nice boothes to corner her in. Very big portions and gave us somewhere to wait while we peeked out the window waiting for chip an dale to come back out for some pics.

I guess I'm in the minority here. My family enjoyed Tony's. It's not going to be on par with Jiko, Cali. Grill, etc... But it was an enjoyable meal. The husband enjoyed the chicken parm, I enjoyed the ziti as well as dessert. The daughters liked the pasta as well.

We got to eat on the porch and had an awesome view of Mary Poppins.

We have an ADR for Feb., so we must like it enough to go back again.

If you want I have pictures of the meal on my dining review below.

we ate ther in 06 - nothing great - we had lunch - not a huge variety to choose from - won't be going back !

We've eaten here for lunch and will be returning this year. We loved it! I specifically chose lunch because that's when they offer pizzas. Their Bianca flatbread pizza is the best pizza I've ever had on property. Even better than the flatbread I had at California Grill a few years back.

Good service, and I loved all of the Lady & the Tramp things. I'd recommend doing a late lunch, and then eating CS for dinner. Particularly if you have any interest in pizza.

I ate at Tony's for lunch last September and LOVED it. Actually one of my favorite restaurants and will be eating there again this September. I did take pictures of the food. You can see them in my trip report. There is a link in my signature. The pictures should be on the second page. :)

Didn't love it, didn't hate it. Therefore, it is not on my list to go back to. Nothing wrong with the food, just nothing special. I want my meals at Disney to be things I cannot get back home.

We have eaten there twice and I really liked it both times!!

I like Tony's, but then I like simple food that tastes like itself. They have no problem fixing a well-done steak, and the potatoes and broccoli are fine. It's also a rather pretty place that says "Disney" to me.

I worked with one person who likes it, and others who say no to the place.

I have yet to try it.

I think you have to take it for what it is. It is not a fine dining experience. It isn't something that you can't get anywhere else. It is, atleast to me, on par with Olive Garden. Good, not exceptional. But it's a restaurant in the park, which makes it convienent. When we went there, the service was fine. I go by the thought that service is very specific to the person you get as a waiter. Some are good, and some are bad. This is everywhere. But I will go back to a place with bad service if I enjoy the food (keeping in mind the kind of service I am about to get). I say go, but don't expect a fine dining experience.:thumbsup2

We arrived earlier than we thought on our last trip and had no dinner plans. DH was starving and suggested we eat at Tony's. I was pretty reluctant after all of the bad reviews I had read on the boards. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Since we were paying OOP we just had an entree, but the spaghetti was very good. I would consider returning here again! :)
