Tony's or Mama Melrose

Which do you like better? I don't want to do 2 Italian places 2 days in a row, so we are going to only pick one. The second choice for Hollywood Studios is 50s Prime Time, but I'm not sure about second choice for Magic Kingdom. Somewhere close so we can make 7:00 main street electrical, any suggestions?

I like Tony's food better, but it is a little more expensive if your paying OOP. If you have a young child then Mamma Melrose is a little less fancy in my humble opinion. The 50's cafe was ok, it really depends on how much the CM gets into character. Ours was so so but the table next to us, the CM had them in stitches! I was even laughing at her anticts with them. The Sci Fi is also fun in the cars. Enjoy!

Tony's is by far the WORST meal i've ever had in my 10 day trip. So disgusting. I think what ruined everything was the tomato/marinara sauce. its awful. My chicken parm was nasty. I tried a bite of my son's meatballs and i couldnt even swallow it. i had to spit it into a napkin. wow it was gross. I think if you eat here, get anything WITHOUT tomato sauce. You should be fine then.

I've heard many many good things about Mama Melrose though. I heard their food is yummy.

i've been to 50's, had the fried chicken, VERY salty. I think it was an off day cause even the tables around us complained of the same thing. Very fun place thou, and i love the decore. I would definitely recommend this place!

I agree about Sci Fi!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Their ribs are SO YUMMY! Burgers & shakes are delish too. Its so much fun eating in their cars, watching clips. Love it. This is my fave place at HS!

Hmm..

In 3 times to 50's, we've never had a server get into character (twice with grandmother, once with friends).

I've done Tony's... geez, maybe 3 times as well? I went once with grandmother and mother, once with mother, and once by myself. The time with grandmother, it was for lunch and it was a disaster. It was a very disappointing meal. The other two times were for dinner, and it was absolutely delicious.

Mama Melrose is another one that we've done three times, and it's always been for late lunch, and has always been delicious.

Dinner at Tony's, Lunch at MM, both delish, YMMV.

DH and I like Tony's better than MM. Love both Sci-fi and 50's PT.

We like both. We've never had any issues with the food at either. I would put Mama Melrose's slightly above Tony's if given the choice. Plus, I really enjoy the atmosphere in MM's a lot!
