Tony's or Crystal Palace?!

I'm the oddball and would say Tony's:goodvibes We sat outside and watched the electrical parade right from our table, my ds loved it.

As far as food goes, Tony's was one of two places my kids really liked the food (the other Y&Y). I prefer sit down to buffet, and my kids are not into the CP characters; however if you have a crowd that likes hundred acre wood then you may want to take advantage of character interaction.

Bottom line I thought the food at Tony's was great, and we had great service, the CM's were very attentive (I had the veggie lasagne).

Have fun!:goodvibes

I would agree- we like to sit down and relax at dinner and we have been to tony's 2 times. Kids loved their meals as did the adults. Service was so great the 2nd time we went we made sure the manager knew about how great our waiter was!

We prefer CP. the atmosphere there is so great my kids love it as well as my wife and I

Keep Crystal Palace. We ate at Tony's and CP last trip and we really didn't like Tony's at all. And we're not picky.

Glad to hear so many good reviews about CP, we are trying for the first time this trip. Can't wait!

I've read several people complaining about Tony's tomato sauce ... what's the deal with it? Is it too bland, too spicy, or what? :confused3 I have an ADR made for our upcoming trip in September and now I'm getting second thoughts about it

To say Tony's is like chef boyardee is completely inaccurate, as I think chef boyardee is FAR better than Tony's!!!!!!! I'd take chef boyardee's ravioli over tony's food any day!! Tony's was by far the worst meal we had in our entire 10 day trip. Absolutely disgusting. I think their tomato sauce is gross, thats why neither of us could eat our food probably. My chicken parm was inedible, but my sons spaghetti & meatballs was far worse. I took a bite of his meatball and had to spit it out into a napkin...yes, it was that gross. And believe it or not, we're not picky people. The service was horrible as well. I should have listened to the reviews and booked elsewhere! Ugh! Stupid me.

Honestly, go to Crystal Palace. Their food is delish. :thumbsup2

Tony's is just ok. Not terrible, not great. A step above an Olive Garden perhaps.

But I'm a big fan of Crystal Palace. I think its the best buffet in WDW. Never been there for breakfast (but I heard it's A+). If you go definitely get the apple cobler for dessert! Yum!

No way Tony's is a step above olive garden. NO WAY IN HECK! ...i'd say its two steps below olive garden. Just imagine mcdonalds making spaghetti & meatballs, it would be at that level.
I cant describe what it is that makes their tomato sauce so gross, but it is disgusting. I dunno what it is off the top of my head. Honestly if you do go to tony's, stay away from anything italian (hahahaha funny im suggesting that at an italian restaurant).....seriously thou, try their steak. No joke, i heard their steak is medicore. So you should be safe with something like that. Stay away from anything with tomato sauce in it, and for petesake, no meat balls! Stay away from the balls. Yes, its that bad. :sad2:
